It's just a shame some sort of buy-back clause wasn't part of the equation.

Sure it will only be a matter of time till he joins one of our direct rivals.


Maybe Lamptey did not want to have a buy back clause inserted into his new contract. Those clauses are a distraction anyway. Maybe one day we will splash 50 million to buy him back

Right now, Lamptey is much better both offensivly and from a defensive point of view. I do not watch all of Lampteys matches, but from all the matches I have seen, he looked fantastic regardless who the opponent was. RJ looks nowhere close to Lamptey right now. May change one day
