We'll he playing for wolves. That is kinda the definition of fallen...

+ wolves may demand 80m for him but i doubt anyone is paying more than half of that for a player who has not really looked anything special this season so far.

are you even familiar with the back-story?

Why has Ruben Neves joined Wolves? It's down to Jorge Mendes

Agent 'pushing for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves to join Juventus'

https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/man-city/transfer-talk/news/agent-pushing-for-neves-to-join-juventus_343923.html

The agent of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is reportedly trying to push his client towards joining Juventus.

Neves has been instrumental in Wolves' rise from the Championship to the top half of the Premier League tablein the past season-and-a-half, establishing himself as a key player for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

However, the 21-year-old's performances are also understood to have attracted the attention of a number of clubs around Europe, including Manchester City and Juventus.

Agent Jorge Mendes already has a positive relationship with the latter, having brokered the £100m deal which took Cristiano Ronaldo to the Italian champions during the summer, and Calciomercato claims that he has now also offered Neves to Juve.

The Serie A champions are in the market for midfield reinforcements and could make a move as early as January.

However, the price tag is likely to be a sticking point, with Wolves unlikely to accept anything below £100m for their star asset as they attempt to ward off interest.

Wolves slap £110m price tag on Neves to ward off suitors

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/wolves-slap-110m-price-tag-on-neves-to-ward-off-suitors-b58ff6rxg

Wolverhampton Wanderers value Ruben Neves in excess of Paul Pogba’s Premier League record transfer fee. Amid persistent interest from leading Champions League sides including Manchester City, a price in the region of £110m is being quoted for the Portugal international.

Wolves signed Neves from FC Porto for a then club-record €16m (currently £14.4m) in July 2017. His central midfield play proved pivotal to their Championship success with Neves scoring six league goals and being elected into the Professional Footballers’ Association team of the year.

The Chinese-owned club resisted a series of close-season approaches for Neves ahead of their return to the Premier League. Two months ago, Wolves improved the midfielder’s financial terms by agreeing a new five-year contract.

City were one of Neves’ summer suitors,…

This is the whopping pricetag Wolves have placed on star man

WWFC believe he is worth more than the transfer fees paid for Pogba, Coutinho, Bale and Ronaldo

You watching the Wolves v Victimpool game?

He doesn't look too fallen to me, lol.

I GUARANTEE he goes for a shit tonne more than £40m when he is sold. Book it, dead lock.

He is one of the best long-distance shooting DMF's in football, a great passer, tenacious on defence.

Still the move to wolves could have a career breaker just as well regardless of the background. Maybe it is because i grew up watching football in the era of mega midfield allrounders who could hit those diagonals with eyes closed + score and assist double digits every seadon that i find players  like him who have like 2 goals and assists in 16 games unspectacular in general. But we will see how he turns out.

Sturridge another one who got away is out of contract end of the season and they will probably not extend... sad what a player he could have been if not wrecked by injuries. I still think the decision to sell him was correct with his injury record, even in hindsight. just the fee and the timing of the sale was very unfortunate.

had a look his injury record actually needs 2 pages on transfermarkt^^ https://www.transfermarkt.de/daniel-sturridge/verletzungen/spieler/47082
