coolhead23 1,147
Adam Johnson >>>>>>> any of the untried potential/so call superstars of the futures that we are after. Except Sneijder (he is experience) maybe.Plays both flanks, pacey, foxy, home grown. Honestly he is not being used by the stupid Mancini at City. Dont see it happening because RA's advisories are only looking for future Messis and i m sure as per them Adam Johnson? WTF is he! Just another player. dave30 728
having said i think he would be fairly priced i would be much more inclined to pay 30 million for Johnson than sneijder .
Ollie 4,400
Proven premiership quality and experience is priceless. Still, we said that about Torres and he looks likes he's never played in the prem before and can't cope with the tempo. Weird. Man Utd got Young, premiership proven. We need to get a manager then focus on getting some talented players that are not ridiculously priced. Johnson would be about 15m but City wont sell to us. Still reckon we should go for N'Zogbia. Wilson 358
I've always said we should have signed him from 'Boro. Would love him at Chelsea, quality player, especialy at his age. Don't see him coming to Chelsea though

LondonPride1905 236
Ok. One of the #CFC targets is Adam Johnson. So far, #MCFC have given an unequivocal 'not for sale'. At moment, can't see any movement. - via garbosj Ian McGarry

Wxgba 306
Personally, I'm a big fan of Johnson, and I like the fact that he's more than capable of playing on both wings. However, as he's young, English, versatile, and at the country's richest club, there's no way we'll be able to acquire him for a reasonable fee - it'll be massively inflated and I don't think he's worth more than £10-£15m. City being City will want more than that so I'm hoping we turn our attention to a cheaper, more reasonable outlet.

LondonPride1905 236
Okay, I am amazed at City. I see and understand Tottenham, they have only Van Der Vaart for replacement on the creative mid side, but Shitty, will have Tevez,Aguero,Balotteli, Milner, Barry, David Silva, Etuhu. Can't they spare Johnson, I want him so badly..
lionsden 4,689
mata or shakhtar's william would be better value for money . . . english players are outrageously overpricedbut if the price is right then I don't mind Johnson

LondonPride1905 236
I forgot SWP, and that makes so much players available for wingers, it hurts me. I really wish they could sell him to us, he is my dream player for many years.

SeB 1,281
I'm not very impressed by him, he plays always the same way, he crosses quite badly and he hasn't stamina... I think the best thing would have been to take him when he was at Boro, after the U21 EC... Now it's too late, City would ask an outrageous price for him.I have never seen him perform really well against top 7 teams, he was always transparent. He is quick, technically good but I often complain when I see this kind of player who, I think, cannot use their skills wisely for the team. He is left footed and his right foot is terribly bad, making his play very predictableHe is going to be 24, I don't see him crossing a level again, for me he peaked. He would have been a good substitute if we had take him 3 years ago, now he is too expensive for the what he could really bring to us. I cant help thinking he is a kind of headless chicken...
