termninja 5,290
Well we didin't show that we wanted Carlo enough at the Bridge, and Roman isn't going to read this forum. So how is he going to know that most of us want Carlo to stay.Don't worry he reads it, he's *cough* Blue *cough* Lion *cough*
zolayes 14,489
In our first 50 years we had FIVE managers. Since Glenn Hoddle left in 1996 we have had TEN ...only Hiddink left of his own accord.

So I'm not sure if most of Chelsea's supporters want Carlo staying because of this poll.

Henrique 9,133
The forum is irrelevant, but the fans in the stadium are?No, because what the fans says in a stadium gets noticed. If you call Carlo "idiot" here, nobody outside this forum will know. If theres a giant banner "Carlos is idiot" in Stamford Bridge it will be many papers around the world. If a poll that less than 200 people answered shows that 70% want Carlos staying, this means almost nothing. If 70% of the SB were chanting "Keep Carlo The KING!!" it should mean something."That was to be expected in many ways but what was most surprising was the lack of support for Ancelotti coming from the stands during the match. There were no banners to be seen or chants sung like when Claurio Ranieri and Guus Hiddink were about to leave the club, albeit for different reasons. Even Avram Grant got more acclaim three years ago when everyone was sure his days were numbered despite guiding Chelsea to the Champions League Final."http://www.thisislon...o-the-bridge.do

Obviously not everyone goes on this forum, and then goes out wanting Carlo to stay, i'm not retarded. For all i know everyone else might want Carlo to go, but who knows. Jose M 140
In my oppinion Carlo wont get sacked! He's a awsome manger thats brought top quality Brazilians to CFC, if we want that same quality we have to keep carlo. He won the double in his first seson in PL thats unheard of. The only critisim i have is that he is to scared to play youth, buth thats Romans doing. I really hope Varlo stays on cause He has HUGE potential at Chelsea FC. Madmax 9,219
At the end of the day it is the paying fans whose opinions count the most.....You'd be surprised to learn that every time you watch a Chelsea game on the telly or online, you're contributing to the club's revenue. It's not as obvious as the tings at the Bridge cash register though.

The whole article contains one significant fact - the result, which incorporates goal times and the mode of scoring - and several assumptions and sylogisms, not always correct. In fact, there really WERE banners (I counted four) supporting Carlo at the game. And no, I am not a Chelsea fan. And no, I am not Carlo either. But yes, I do like to see good, well constructed, well thought-out journalism, not the cheap drivel you see here which would have taken an average hack less than ten minutes to put together. - ScouseAndy, Newcastle & Wales, 17/05/2011 12:56This is lazy sports journalism at its most typical. It's all so simple to blame the manager for mistakes made by the owner and board, who released 5 big name, high wage players leaving the squad short of experience and then went and sacked the assistant manager quarter of the way into a season to replace him with the head scout. If Ancelotti had won the title this year he should have been remembered as one of the game's true greats. - Raymond, Orpington, Kent, 16/05/2011 14:25I was at the game yesterday. the reason why we didnt stay was because we was once again given a half hearted performance from the players, for all the money ive paid out to them this season i wanted a good performance from them to say thank you. if they had played well and won then im sure the fans would have stayed and thanked the players. plus we had to wait 15 minutes for the players to come back out which was a joke! Also every true chelsea fan does not want ancelotti to leave, he has one more season on his contract, lets see what he can do to turn it around! if you really want to tell the world what chelsea fans think of carlo you should come and ask us before and after the games, not assume that we want him out because we didnt hold any banners? ps you obviously werent at the game to hear the mathew harding section shouting carlo's name on his lap of honour! Any danger of a story about how the chelsea fans want him to stay? - john, london, 16/05/2011 14:05Try to ensure that you post factually correct articles next time.
