MikeCFC 45
A meaning-less International friendly in what should be a midweek reserved for 'possible' FA Cup replays.Yup folks, that's FA mentality for you.

ZanSnake 1,211
Hope we can perform better in the next game with Sturridge playing instead of Anelka/Drogba.Drogba as the right winger would be more benefical and with having Sturridge as the striker we could make him into a goal machine! spuz 143
It's sad isn't it. Although Everton weren't much better than us today.Currently we're worse than we were under Scolari.yep. Very sad. It's not players we need,we have enough. It's more coaching, better tactics and a kick up the backside that's all the team needs. The other sad thing is we were looking at Pienaar giving less of a chance to one of our best players ( when played this season) Josh, then £40m plus on Torres when Sturridge has been given no time whatso ever, then Luiz when we have given Bruma barely any time at all.All of this whilst hoping to break even and stick to the new income turnover rules. We have a great squad and are underperforming and haven't looked good since August apart from the odd 45 minutes in a game, usually when we go behind. middleoftheshed 388
Great day, although I still haven't seen Chelsea win away since West Ham! Does the replay mean that the Fuham game goes back to a Saturday?
Ollie 4,400
Was a good first half, we came into it and created chances, they created chances and i was upbeat at half time because we seemed to be getting through them and were controlling the tie imo. The second half was piss poor. Everton decided to step it up and take the game to us and we couldn't counter attack them and do the same to them. We were very much second best in the 2nd half and thanks to Essien's block from Coleman, we're at least in the hat. Kalou took his goal well too, not sure the ball was meant to him but decently taken.Overall, i'm happy with the chance to take em back to the Bridge, altho we can't seem to beat them there, we'll get em this time Edited January 29, 2011 by OllieCFC
Madmax 9,219
A sidenote - that injury seems to have taken a step off Lampard. He was quite slow today.

BlueLion. 21,491
I've just seen the full replay of the game... their goal came from a corner, but the whole of the ball didn't go over the line...
Cameron 30
I've just seen the full replay of the game... their goal came from a corner, but the whole of the ball didn't go over the line...Was it the one where Malouda tried to keep it in? Didn't look like the ball went out from where I was standing.
LDN Blue 7,903
I've just seen the full replay of the game... their goal came from a corner, but the whole of the ball didn't go over the line...Was a 50-50 call, you can understand how the linesman flagged it a corner, in real time. Doesn't excuse the poor defending though..
MikeCFC 45
Was a bit of a dodgy call by the linesman, but to be fair Everton were peppering us anyway. These decisions are all about swings and roundabouts, but at least we have another bite of the toffee...sorry,cherry.
