True_Blue 469
Because today he didn't do anything wrong? I hope you're not going to be one of those people who will moan about people celebrating Kalou's goal even though they criticise him as a player There is a difference between moaning and shitting all over him. LDN Blue 7,903
There is a difference between moaning and shitting all over him.I've always maintained he's criticised in a fair way. We'll all give him praise for his goal today, because it showed good movement and a good strike. Fair play to him.
BlueLion. 21,491
Kalou sure saved our bacon,as well as Ramires and Cech. Not a good performance, nowhere near Monday night's but we're slowly still getting back into the swing of things and i guess a draw is a fair outcome.Should beat them at the Bridge.A realistic appraisal of the match- absolutely agreed. How come no one shits all over Kalou now?Because all of a sudden everyone likes him again. Gives the Kalou lovers like me a wry smile of course, but it will be back to slagging him off next time he misses a chance of any sort.Kalou gets important goals for us.He's the ideal super-sub.I'd like him to stay at Chelsea, though i do respect and understand the criticism that some people on here have given him.Ramires is getting better and better and has got me hapilly chewing my words as those who follow me on FB and twitter know how harsh i've been on Ramires since his arrival at SB.Sometimes it's good to be proven wrong.Good post (again)! I'm keen for Kalou to stay - as a sub he is excellent. His pace was a different proposition for the Everton defence considering Anelka and Flo seem to have lost half a yard of pace. When was the last time we beat Everton at home? I think it's been a while.Something silly like 5 years.2007/08 Carling Cup semi-finals. SWP and an own-goal by Lescott. Mikel got sent off. Badboy 1,526
Kalou played well when he came on and he provided a threat so well done Kalou. Ramires and cech were on another level, Ramires is seriously showing us how good he is !
LDN Blue 7,903
No he doesn't. He gets abused and gets called names.Okay maybe some take it out of hand. But criticism is allowed and so is praise. It's unfair to say because we praise him for a goal, then criticise his overall play, we are hypocrites/jumping on the bandwagon and all that, isn't it? No-one will deny him this at all - And if he does that more when called off the bench I'm sure people will start cutting him slack. That all of course remains to be seen, if a transfer for Torres comes and if Sturridge will get his go ect.
HRiver 1,512
I'm pleased with the draw, it was a fair result at the end. At the Bridge we can beat them, I'm sure the team will perform much better than today. If the game ends as a 0-0, 2-2, 3-3 draw or whatever, will there still be ET or will the away goals rule apply, just like in Champions League? diskoviolente 425
No complains about this game. Everton is our bogey team who always seem to rise their game, especially Saha. Getting into the replay, keepin in mind that we are "getting there" again. Delighted for Kalou, well done. Same goes for Ramires, the boy is really showing us why we splashed so much cash for him.Lamps had a quiet game, fair enough.Really annoyed by Drogbas antics today. toddandrewblue 19
No words for the second half performance. Everton deserved to win but thanks to Kalou, again great goal, we get a replay. It seems we just can't perform the way we should. Starting to wonder if we'll ever get back to the way we used to be.Cech - 8Bosingwa - 5Ivanovic - 5Terry - 5Cole - 3.5Essien - 4.5Ramires - 5.5Lampard - 4Anelka - 5Drogba - 3Malouda - 3.5CA we have a serious problem. Please fix it.Ramires 5.5? Were you watching ths same game I was? Ramires MOTM! Showed great skill with the ball, explosiveness on the counter, movement off the ball, nearly scored the winner - great game for him.Malouda 3.5? Unduly harsh. I felt he had a very good game, was surprised it was him going off for Kalou. Played with a lot of strength on the ball and never gave up in the face of challenges. And to give our backs 5,5,5 and 3.5? Again, unduly harsh. We conceded on a corner, Terry's poor marking, but overall the defense served to keep them out of the goal in open play. Overall I saw it as a good performance. Couldn't finish, but away to Everton it was an acceptable result.
Gappy 130
Essien seem to have a problem with holding and passing many many times this game While anelka speed down our attack as always Drogba should stop whiny and leave the game like that no one buy his injured acting anymore =.=Ramires continue prove his worth better and better
MikeCFC 45
Bit harsh to say Drogba was faking injury today. He took a little knock and was just trying to run it off.Even Craig Burley was accusing Drogba of 'play acting' along with the booing of the Everton fans.Cunts!!.
