Nobody's blaming them, it's embarrassing because of what happened afterwards. The game isn't over until the final whistle.

You only celebrate like that after the final whistle, or if you've just won the champions league final.

When your playing under pressure like we were, it's got to be expected they celebrate like that. Just like the fans did.

Now people have a problem with the way we celebrate injury time goals with a bit more passion than others?

Bunch of moaners.

Sigh. No one is complaining about the way the players celebrated but about the way they gave it away so easily because they thought they'd already won.

We would much rather that passion go into their performance instead of one celebration in a 90 minute game.

But if we did win we would all be happy and cheering for the blues

Of course we'd be happy but we didn't win.

And we're still cheering for the blues but we have nothing to be happy about at the moment.

,but we conceded a unlucky goal

The goal wasn't unlucky. The players assumed we won the match and decided to take a nap. Villa took advantage of the situation and scored. We only have ourselves to blame for not ending up winning.

How can you be embarrassed by the fact that they showed a bit of passion at a time when it's all doom and gloom - a doom only more exemplified by fans who jump to worst possible scenarios and slag players constantly?

You'd think some people on here have never dealt with losses, draws, below-par performances and a bit of bad luck.

Sure, they may get paid a fair bit but everyone of those players has worked hard to get to that level and deserve all the money they get. What we saw today was determination, a never-give-up attitude and passion from a team that has been on a horrific run of form - a run which every player at the club is working to stop. No one plays to lose, no one plays crap on purpose. If a player didn't want to turn the club's fortunes around, then they would have left by now - just as Rooney tried to when United were struggling.

Have a little faith.

So you'd rather have passion, and then lose a game over finishing the job and then showing passion?

Our complaints are not of passion, but of them reserving that celebration till the final whistle when it would've been 100% theirs. Instead they got complacent.. "play to the whistle" the first rule of football. Imagine they done that in the Champions League and that goal would knock us out.. Would you be this calm then?

my guess is that players are tired physically. Remember the last 14 months. Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, World Cup Qualifier, World Cup, Carling Cup Pre season with Premier League. With only 22 days off.

If you analyze the performance in the last 2 months it is clear that injuries and the ups and downs during the games are the result of fatigue.

Goals in the last moments, when the rival score we can not recover, Front slow, slow defense, until now the midfield is starting to play more but still inconsistent level.

For example, the second goal of the AV, not the fault of J. Bruma, he played good for my, Heski is very big and strong almost ran over him, perhaps only Alex could withstand the blow, but you see A. Cole stopped allowing the player to make the move and launch the center.

The penalty and the third goal is the result of carelessness and lack of concentration caused by fatigue and mental fatigue. If you see the 3 goal, 2 Vila players were alone in the 2-pole.

And it's all join the many injuries caused by old injuries over the previous seasons caused by fatigue and normal tickets of the season.

At the end Anchelotti to look good with Abramovich and not spend the money we are paying the price for not foresee replacing R. Carvhalo and the lack of a right-back Bosingwa need as much time to recover. You keep the problem from a position as important as Lampard.

The result now is this :

'In the centre-back i think we have to look at the condition of Alex,' he responded. 'This week he comes back from Brazil and we have to look. I dont like to speak here, but we need some players.'

Does anyone know why kakuta wasn't in the team sheet ?

I hope it doesn't mean he will be loaned... Because it would be a huge mistake to sell/loan our players before buy/loan new players !!! That being said, he never plays so he won't be a big miss...

At the end of the day, you must do 2 things.

1) Celebrate after the final whistle when we've officially won the match.

2) Make sure you hold onto the lead if you're gonna celebrate a last minute goal to put you ahead (Like when Lamps scored against Stoke in the dying seconds and the players ran to Scolari)

Bottom line is, we fucked up yesterday big time and huge lessons would've been learned. While the game is still going on, anyone has time to score. I don't blame them for celebrating like that, hell i did pretty much the same with my dad and my brother, we went fucking mad. it's spare of the moment but when you score like that, you have to fucking hold onto it. Disastrous ending.

But the point is, it was 3-2 to us and the players let it slip by over-celebrating before full time.

Yeh to be fair think everyone in the ground at at home thought that was it.Then you were kind brought back down with the 'omg theres 5 mins to play oh look we fucked up'
