Buffalo talks Blue 85
'That was yet again another reminder from Frank Lampard to offer him a new contract by his club, Chelsea FC.' One of the commentators said that last night during the England - Brazil game.

One of the commentators said that last night during the England - Brazil game. Noones disputing that he should get a contract, it's just that if he wants it under the same terms as previous contracts it wouldn't be justified to the club financially. I read also that Abramovich is getting rid of the player power in the dressing room, something we need to do if we want a young, hungry coach in who might not have the respect of the dressing room instantly. (like it happened during AVB reign, players rebelled) The only place to be

(like it happened during AVB reign, players rebelled)I don't think it was just player power - AVB to be fair is a bit of a cock when talking to him, looks like he rubbed the players up the wrong way and was then unable to build bridges to reconcile the situation? So both parties are guilty, but I can understand the player perspective - you give your all for a club and get benched with a new guy who hasn't really given you a chance. I think AVB thought he could dominate the dressing room without first building a relationship - but we all know how that turned out If you look at him with Spurs now - he's definitely toned his behaviour down and modified it and is now enjoying some success... bababoom 4,478
Not trigerring a fight, but what he said is true.Do you actually think the English media say our national team is the best? far from it, they mostly write pessimistic stuff like we only have a few talents coming through, or we play bad football.. it's only before a major tournament when they have a little hope and hype the team up a bit. CHOULO19 24,332
For all the fuss about the England vs Brasil game, France vs Germany was ten times better, especially the first 35 mins. So much quality in that German side. Ozil is soo good, I feel like he is playing a different sport than everyone else!

kellzfresh 7,229
They played better than holland in the first half and should have been up by 3 goals. In the 2nd half two quick chances and filipe melo stupid red card ruined it for them. Brazil won the confederations cup before that tournament, they were doing well under dunga. I think they sacked him because he didn't use a lot of flair which is a must for brazil national teams

The link up, the moves, seeing young players flourish. That shit rocks MY boat :-)

That shit rocks MY boat :-)I sincerely hope not much water is in your boat, then. For Belgium to squeeze 2:1 at the last minute was not much to write home about. Mind you, they ease off in the 2nd half, though. Stingray

It is a friendly of course, so that fact and the changes kind of deadened the game.
