1. As many you have correctly suggested/infered , Josh changed when he got his girlfriend and his progression hit a wall at the same time.

2. She is not even attractive

3. So many people aged 18-24 especialy without proper guidance make poor decisions(influenced by girlfriends/boyfriends) they live to regret later in life

4. Josh was one of my fav youth players but lets be real, higher chance I date emma watson than he becomes chelsea quality.

I mean this is the same guy that was being compared with Wilshere not too long ago. Could have had a decent career here but wasted it for a celeb life.

I just watched a brief 5 minute compilation of one of his games at Boro and he's still ALL left foot. I mean absolutely no attempt to improve on his weak foot whatsoever.

You bought into the hype and are seeing he isnt as good as talksport had you believing. It happens, but lets not act like Sophie is the reason for it. If he wants it bad enough he will make it happen regardless or not he has her.

Hard work and determination will always get you far.

He has excellent vision, awareness, ball control and a great change of pace. He isn't some Livermore or Gibson ffs, he's actually talented.

Its fair I was caught up in it too for some time. Its the media in the end. They build these kids up on such monuments that they are bound to fall in most cases. He was never as good as people were making him out to be. Potential? Perhaps, but it clearly was not based on him as a person, but on what we wanted him to be. Every little pass, every smart position, every little thing wasnt him, but what we simply wanted him to be.

The Josh you see now was the same Josh that was there before Sophie. It might just be apparent now, but hes the same lad.

Livermore and Gibson are both Championship level plodders. McEachran is fairly talented, you don't get a fair amount of playing time for a massive club like Chelsea at only 16 if you're not talented.

Ancelotti was raving about him early on and Mata is on record saying he was the player he was most impressed with on his first week here.

I follow the lad on twitter and he seems pretty content to collect his wages, shag his famous bird and go on a night out rather than take his profession seriously. That extra hard work, determination and desire is the difference in being either a Ronaldo and Lampard or a Quaresma and Jody Morris.

Made an appearance tonight for the U21s, one to forget, never really got into the game, got into an extremely good position near the end to create a chance/score but totally messed it up. Having said that he's no impact sub. There's still no other player like him in the squad and there's definitely a role for him that he'll hopefully do well in as the tournament progresses
