Yeah almost forgot about the Community Shield. 99% we will be back at Wembley and probably against Arsenal. The question is, when?

The Community Shield could well be played on August 1 or 2, in between the friendlies against Barcelona and Fiorentina.

I doubt so, it has always been played on the weekend from 7 to 11 August, don't see them changing that this year.

I read that the Community Shield 2015 will be played on 9th August, Sunday. So it's actually after the start of the season.

That means we would have 5 games in 14 days just before the season starts. Quite a heavy schedule that. Don't think that's ideal.

Had it been just before the CS, maybe, but in between the CS and the Premier League is totally useless.

The Fiorentina match is the more important one with when it is being played. Finishing touches to the preseason and friendlies just like the Sociadad one last year 3 days before weekend 1 of the new season.

Last season we didn't have community shield, and we didn't play twice in the week before Burnley.

This year, we do play the CS, and it's a much better contest to prepare a season than the Fiorentina game.

Cs is just a friendly like any other preseason.

8Aug , 10 Aug in Turkey plus Sociadad midweek before weekend 1 in this season just gone actually Which started on the 16th.

So could have been 4 games in 8 days including travelling.

When these games arranged we didnt know Burnley was going to be moved to Monday from Saturday
