Just listened to Looks Like a Job For by Big Daddy Kane. Holy motherfucking shit. What an album.

Probably been mentioned before, but this is def a highlight of mine these last years (with good kid mad city by kendrick)

Not a big fan of his at all.

The Underachievers - Cellar Door:

Not as good as Indigoism, the singles from that project were better too i.e 'The Mahdi'. UA are thought provoking.. but their music does lack solid narratives, or enough coherent storylines. 'Icandescent', 'Metropolis' and the outro 'Amorphous' the standouts for me 'atm'.

Absolutely loved Cellar Door, been bumpin it non-stop.

IMO i thought it was just as solid as Indigoism, not that much better or worse. But yeah i agree with most of your opinions on the album, i too wish they would explicitly state what it is that makes them enlightened and so on and so forth. They have a lot of interesting things tosay but never go in depth with them, other than that i love em.

I'm gonna have to cherish this album because ISSA said he was gonna quit rap. He said he wants to continue his education and that rapping was just a temporary thing :cry::cry: ...Although they will probably still make songs together, i doubt it'll be at the same rate. AK will continue making music however, but damn i'm gonna miss the duo. Nobody like them in Hip-Hop right now, they were unique, no doubt about that.

So many comments on this songs are saying its terrible, but for me there is just something about it that makes it really good.

People online hate no matter what. There are people online who hate Marshall Mathers LP, pay them no mind.
