It's understandably hotter. In the cities it's much cooler. In Sydney, in summer it is usually around 30 degrees celcius (sometimes a lot less, sometimes a lot more). Autumn and Spring is also quite warm. Lately our winters have become quite cold.

It's the Australia you see in the movies. Red dirt, a river, lots of trees, kangaroos, emus, farms/properties, shearing sheds, etc. It's not backwards out here though, so don't even thing that.In my town we have four bars (racecourse, showgrounds, golf course and the bowls club), a BYOB café and four pubs. About 15 years ago there were seven pubs in town. That is the pub I get wasted at. Decent place, a very typical outback pub though.

Leif 6,006
Time to do some cardio, run out of breath, then roll up in a corner and cry due to my lack of agility, stamina and the likes. Has anyone ever attempted the "Insanity" workout? As the name suggests, it is Insane.Barely got through the warm-up yesterday! capriccioso 2,545
Moaner. Have you ever been to Singapore?Count yourself lucky. It's insanely humid there. I've visited the Old Countries several times (India and Sri Lanka, where my parents respectively come from) and they don't compare at all. I know the weather there can be extremely terrible when it's hot/summer but just not sure it is as bad as you're making it out to be.
