Just imagine an end full of them. We have gone far too reserved, conservative (small c) in England. Its like 'THEY' have won and there's no extremes any more. No bright colors - just magnolia.

There needs to be another - some sort of rebellion - fashion wise, music wise, drug wise.

With every new subculture - underground youth culture, there is a drug equated to it. With the 60s flower children they had their cannabis, acid, the Mods, skinheads, punks had their speed, the Casuals, ravers their MDMA,acid, ketamine etc When the totally amazing places Shoom and Boys Own started up you just felt that it was going to be massive, almost like a religeous experience tho I'm agnostic. You had the coming together of all walks of life. The footy lads that liked a scrap rubbing shoulders and hugging doctors etc. All very loved up and not shy to say so. It was an amazing open secret and tho the cops and councils were pissed off we carried on fighting the system sometimes literally. All was fine until of course the media and  commercialization got their money grabbing hands on it. All the bright lovely colors turned to green!

I dint condone the use of drugs but at the same time thees been some very expressive and creative, clever people spring  forth from these different times. But for too long now there has been no new underground youth culture. The last good one was the ravers. Lots of bright colors, very expressive, creative peeps. Everybody completely wasted, having a great time, no trouble whatsoever. Since then theres been nothing. Mediocrity There just seems to be middle of the road, average, everywhere we look Nobody stands out from the crowd any more.

Not sure if this is just happening in the West as a whole or Britain but I really think its time for some sort of change. Some color, a bit of chaos, anarchy.

Ziggy's | David Bowie Themed Bar

Never before has London had a bar inspired by the inimitable David Bowie.

But now that’s all ch-ch-ch-changed.

Welcome to Ziggy’s, opening tonight in Piccadilly’s Café Royal, where Bowie frequently partied back in the day along with Lou Reed, Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney. In fact, it’s set up in the very same place where he threw a giant send-off party for his flame-haired alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, back in 1973...

http://laurentatcaferoyal.com/ziggys/

Let us set the scene: The year is 1973. David Bowie retires his dramatic alter ego Ziggy Stardust with a final gig at the Hammersmith Odeon. What follows is a legendary party at Café Royal, a favourite of Bowie’s where he often frequented the restaurants and cocktail bars. Close friends including Mick Jagger, Lou Reed, Paul McCartney, Lulu and many others celebrate at the bash dubbed ‘The Last Supper’.

Evocative of the spirit and splendour of this night, Ziggy’s pays homage to the late great Bowie, 45 years on. The cocktail list is an eclectic mix of classic cocktails reinvented and Bowie’s favoured tipples, all served with lots of glam and a sprinkling of rock n roll. Just like the man himself, the cocktail creations are unique and full of character, from the smooth ‘Tiger on Vaseline’ to the lively ‘Darkness and Disgrace’.

Open until late at the intersection of Mayfair and Soho at Hotel Café Royal, Ziggy’s cocktail bar features a curated gallery of intimate portraits of David Bowie by his long standing photographer and friend Mick Rock. Click here to find out more about the art.

Ziggy’s opens 20 September 2018. Open Mondays to Saturdays, 5pm to 1am.

Not really feeling that

Bowie was all for doing your own thing. I think he would roll in his grave thinking about it.

He was about taking a fashion and putting your own spin on it. Like all the best fashions are.

Ziggy would def be one of my desert island disks

£10.00 GBP  (they were 140 quid or so)

https://www.hanon-shop.com/collections/hanon-deadstock-clearance/products/supra-owen-x-hanon-whisky-gold-s50055

SUPRA team up with expert retailers hanon on a pair of OWEN sneakers, inspired by the fabled single-malt Scotch whisky of the store’s Scottish homeland. As ever, the store continues along the path of their clean color-blocked aesthetic as seen in their previous collaborations, this time with rich black and gold suede uppers done in homage to rich malted barley. In addition, the collaborative sneaker features a premium blend of silky pig and rugged tonal suede overlays which are offset by a nod to Scottish heritage in the form of a full tartan print collar lining, footbed and tongue backer.

Details continue with a two-way lace system in honor of ’90s skate shoes with either fixed lace loops or punched eyelets offering a second option to the original silhouette, while a sunburst perforation features on the vamp and a full punched perf is applied to the tongue. Dual branding completes the “Special Reserve” theme via a gold leaf deboss logo sign-off which is detailed throughout the upper. hanon’s fire emblem appears on the tongue suede patches while the SUPRA Crown and fire appear on opposing heels, lace aglets and footbeds. Finally each pair comes complete with a custom-built velvet dust bag, dual branded hang tag and three lace sets.

Shot onsite in a whisky distillery, the SUPRA x Hanon OWEN “Whisky Gold” are due for release on July 26 via Hanon’s online store, available in a limited run of 50 pairs.

Yeah lol, I haven't done LSD but I would like to (don't know where to get). I had purple pills with Russia-Putin text on one side and Putin's portrait on the other, so you just know it's some hard shit.

Anyone thats been to Goa knows what the part scene is like there (the full moon parties are 4 nights and 4 days but they dont need an excuse as every day is a party day) and theres a wide variety of mood enhancers with most peeps like having a concoction of things..

Apart from all the dealers theres 2 very friendly chemists shops about 20 miles from Anjuna tat if you know them you can order whatever you want.

I know someone who would get a load of empty 20mg caps, 50g of pure MDMA powder a bottle of Ket and a 50ml bottle of Sid. And fill the caps with a cocktail. They emded up beimg called London Boys lol But the cops got too expensive.

But the purity there - and whenever Ive neen to Thailand is always very pure. The pills might get different stamps but the same strength. Goes the same for the Acid. Anyone with any street sense gets a bottle of liquid and a dropper. Or a sheet of blotters. Theres not normally many microdots anymore. But the blotters that are the ones with the best rep are Hoffmans. Been around there over 30 years.  ALL the gear you can think of is very cheap there apart from marching powder whish is more expensive than here. And the same nationalities still run the same businesses. Tho the Red Rupee (the Russian money) has certainly made a big impact on the tourist trade with the building of big hotels etc its not the laid back hippy, party capital any more.

But they do have some amazing hash and opium. Peeps make the trip up into the mountains and stay on a farm. Help the farmer bring in his crop amd make the end product and get paid in it. Then take it back south. Get the 1st Temple Balls or Gold Stamp Nepalese and you've done good.

I'm off there next Weds for 4 weeks, Looking forward to getting on my little boat and do some fishing.Hope the monkeys are well behaved the little sods!
