EskWeston 696
Eventually i am sure they will be banned across the country. If for no other reason than the health and safety nuts with view it as something that can be used as a weapon......Hope they are banned, ruined the atmosphere in South Africa, the PL has great atmosphere and the last thing we want is to be constantly hearing that giant swarm of bees everytime we watch a game. We Hate Scouse 10,326
i have a group of friends who are all planning to bring them to wembley with them for the united game and i have to say im temptedA ban may be imposed on vuvuzelas at Wembley in time for the Community Shield and England's friendly against Hungary in August. (Daily Telegraph)I really hope it is imposed! I think if after a few pints and someone was blowing a vuvuzela in my ear action would be taken... Clubs have to decide themselves whether or not they ban it .

Ray. 217
FA: You can blow your vuvuzelas at WembleyThe Football Association bucked the trend today when they confirmed there would be no immediate ban on vuvuzelas at Wembley Stadium. The decision means Double winners Chelsea could be subjected to a barrage of noise in two weeks when they play the traditional season curtain raiser against Manchester United. A number of Premier League clubs including Fulham, West Ham, Arsenal and Spurs decided to bar the controversial instruments, which came to prominence during the World Cup in South Africa, from their stadia. But supporters will be allowed to bring them to the Community Shield on 8 August between Chelsea and United. The FA will then gauge the reaction to the blowing of vuvuzelas before deciding whether to ban them for future matches, including England's home international against Hungary three days later. The noise made by the instruments was a major talking point at the World Cup, with opinion divided over whether they added to or detracted from the atmosphere during matches.FIFA refused to ban them despite complaints from television companies and the FA, who are bidding to host the World Cup in 2018, will not want to be seen as partypoopers.source - http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-sport/football/article-23858545-fa-you-can-blow-your-vuvuzelas-at-wembley.doSo i'll be wearing my earplugs then for the Community Shield, great, thanks to the FA. Ray. 217
We can just hope the fans won't be stupid and won't take them along!Well i'd urge anyone not to bring them, there is no place for them here. How can you be concentrating on the match if you're blowing one of them?

northernblue 2
Another example of arse-licking by the FA in order to impress the FIFA delegates who will decide the 2018 WC hosts. It's cringeworthy!!
