Ballack Or Lampard?

I will answer this question after i have seen ballack play 20 games this season.

Yesterday i was on a wind up mission so that does not count laugh out loud. Even though some of my points were valid

like lampard is no were to be seen in the big games.

Alot of people say that but he certainly does make a difference. You can see it when he isnt playing. Of course he has had a load of quiet games but he still does a job. I think if he doesnt score he isnt playing well to some people and thats bullshit. Frank has excellent vision. The amount of times he takes one look up and flights the ball in to another Chelsea players path is brilliant. He knows what the opposition players are gunna do before they do in a way!

Maybe we'll get to see how well we do without Lampard after the summer because I for one think he'll be going.

What is your defination of a "big game"? Just to point out, As far as I see, Lampard's performances against Barcelona in UCL in last 4 years have been good. He set up Drogba for the Goal in Last season's FA Cup Final. What else do you want? a Hattrick by him in UCL Finals? Would that help you/

Both of them are top class players.

But for my opinion Lampard is better.

No reason to pick one, both are top top class players who can and will play together in a midfield 3 when Lamps is back. Ballack has been very impressive in the last few games though and he will be a big player for us for the rest of the season.

both are really good players, id love to see them both play together one day, we would have a very dominate midfield. If we can get thm both on the same wave link i think we can do really well with them both togeather

Ballack is better at set plays by the way, whoever said lampard is better at set plays on the first page needs help. And about Lampard and Ballack in the same team, its simple......get mikel out, i personally think he's been crap this season. Maybe slightly harsh but he's been so ineffective. I spose you could play all 3 tho if we're playing without wingers.

Back on topic, Lampard is more effective out of the 2 playing with the other 3. Lampard all the way. I can't believe after all the abuse Ballack got last season, he's now played 3 decent games and there's a "Lampard or Ballack" thread.

I don't mean to play devil's advocate but has anyone noticed that Ballack's past couple of games he's playing better.The irony being that Lampard has been unavailable.

Last season was evident that they just could'nt play together in the same team and Ballack is used to playing in teams that are built around him.I would agree that Ballack is better at set-pieces than Frank.Frank seems more committed,and we can't knock Frank for what he's done for us.

I'm going to take the tounge in cheek approach and say that i'd never back a kraut over an Englishman,so Lampard just edges it,even though he played for West Ham .
