Term-X 7,891
Drogba after throwing his shirt into the crowd.when your at the peak of your performance and the wrong side of 20 you need to win trophys e.g. the champions league to be rememberd forever as one of the worlds best strikers. Drogba's trophy winning seasons will not be enough considering he was'nt even at his best then. Rooney will manage it and so will gerrard.. yet lampard will always be conisderd worse. Drogba's continuses red cards and eufa bans are justified when you consider the actions of indidivuals such as roman & terry.
boshman 1,073
I'm a little confused. Whats the point your trying to put across here? That Drogba will never be remembered because he has never won anything?

That Drogba will never be remembered because he has never won anything?I think I'm starting to understand how his tortured mind works so I will try to explain his logic ..He believes Drogba would attain legendary status only if he won the champions league with us .. that hope has been destroyedby John Terry .What isn't clear to me is if he is referring to our recent defeat or Terry's penalty miss in Moscow .In this case some might suggest that Drogbas ridiculous act causing his sending off in that game was more culpable.Had Drogba been able to take that final penalty ,then he surely would have endowed legendary status on the entire team. Unless he thinks that the recent John Terry "saga" has affected the squad so much that he will never be able to win it with this squad, therefore he will always be remembered within Chelsea but never outside Chelsea when he retires. Rubber bullets 1,183
Hang on, if it was not for Drogba getting sent of for a stupid act, Terry would of not have token the 5th penalty. Unfortunatly if he ever wins it or not Drogba will always bee remembered by the British public as a whiny overacting primadonna

northernblue 2
Drogba will always be seen as a Chelsea legend for what he has acheived at the club - for starters he was central to the two Premier League league wins - our first for 50 odd years don't forget. To suggest he won't be a legend because we won't win the Champions League, and that is Terry's fault, is ridiculous. If you are saying that then none of our players are legends in our whole history, becasue we have never won the European cup!!!Strange logic there! Occasionally frutrating but which player isnt ? -will always be a Chelsea 'great' -up there with Tambling, Greaves, Zola, Dixon -will be a big part of Chelsea history in years to come. I really do believe defenders in the premier league target drogba with dirty fouls because its drogba and we can get away with it. We can hack drogba down in the box and when he over reacts we call him a diver.
Joe Cool 388
Hmm Alan Shearer never won the Champions League, yet he's still considered one of the best strikers our national side has ever seen, mystery isn't that?

Aesthetic Relic 301
Strange boy...... I gather your sudden dislike for Terry has wiped the memory all the good things he's done at the club from your peanut sized brain. He's been the heart and soul of the club for the best part of a decade. Kostas 1,468
I don't blame JT for neither that final in Moscow nor the way our team has collapsed this season. He was terrible in a few games but that's just it.

Yet other individuals have already sealed his fate in the history books. So you are blaming Abramovic and Terry for Drogba not winning the CL, and not becomming a footballing great?Doesn't John Terry deserve just as much to win a CL and considered a great? Especially as he has done more for Chelsea than Drogba has in my opinion. Drogba has sealed his place in Chelsea history with the number of goals he has scored and the performances he has put in. Lets face it, Chelsea players very rarely get the recognition they deserve anyway.
Laylabelle 9,535
Moscow was the slippy surface fault! If it'd been normal and not slippy then we'd be lalala and not talking about when we win the CL and so forthBut he has won trophies...maybe not so many recently but been part of our 6 trophies 3 years do dah with Jose and our FA Squad last year.Surley winning trophies doesnt make you a legend..its how you actully are qulaity wise etc etc
