Kostas 1,468
I'm losing hope in Ancelotti..A lot of us are saying that he needs to build his own squad but are ignoring that he had the summer and the winter transfer period to do that yet he did nothing. He may have inherited Jose's teams but it was a great team.A team that a few months before he came almost beat a team as strong as Barcelona.Nowadays the team doesn't even look good on paper and he seems to ignore even the most obvious things. His choice of playing Anelka on the right has turned last year's top scorer into a useless player who looks almost Kalouless. Our midfielders are under-performing and we constantly hope that Drogba can save the day./end of rant. northernblue 2
Patience patience patience!!! Getting rid of ANOTHER coach would be stupid, we can't keep changing the manager every year just becasue he hasn't won us the Champions League. He needs to be given time and the fullabacking of the players, fans and owner.
DeadMilkman 0
Unfortunately, whoever manages us will be doomed until they win something because of the unfair comparisons with Hiddink and Mourinho.Give Ancelotti time. We have one of the better managers in the game and it'd be silly to sack him. I know some have doubts but do any of you remember his Milan side outright thrashing United back in 06-07? That side was Ancelotti managed and won the CL.I think it was smart Carlo didn't buy during the winter by the way. Let's us evaluate our options more during the summer. EskWeston 696
Carlo inherited an old squad and only brought in Zhirkov, Sturridge and Matic. We absolute HAVE to allow him to look at the squad in the summer and re-organise it how he sees fit. This is not a Scolari situation where it is clear things are not going to improve. We have had a good season until we suffered injuries and the lack of depth in our squad was found out.But leave it to the fans to react badly and blame everyone from Roman to the kit man for the fact we have been going through a rough patch... .Cee 50
Maybe we should get an assistant manager who will give the players a hair-dryer team talk at HT. Ancelotti and Wilkins don't seem to be the type for that.

EskWeston 696
Yes, therefore I'm blaming Roman for not giving Ancelotti the funds for transfer.Well Carlo didn't know the squad to well when he joined so it wasn't that unusual to do limited transfers, this summer will be the more interesting. How much will Roman back Carlo?

Term-X 7,891
of course we should keep him, but we may as well sack him if roman doesn't back him in the trasnfer window this summer.
northernblue 2
Carlo Ancelotti is convinced he will “definitely be at Chelsea next year” irrespective of whether they win the Premier League and FA Cup. The experienced Italian saw his title-chasers drop out of the top-two for the first tine on Sunday when Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw at Blackburn. The setback came on the back of their disappointing exit from the Champions League first knockout phase at the hands of former manager Jose Mourinho and his Internazionale side. However, Ancelotti says Chelsea can still end the season on a high and believes his future at Stamford Bridge is safe. “First of all I believe that we will do well this year,” he told Italian newspaper La Stampa. “However, my future will definitely be at Chelsea next year, independent of results.”Source: FA Cup football blog Carlo seems sure then! Rambo 1,729
Keep Carlo, no question. The squad has gone through too many coaching changes in the past 3 years, it's time we just stick to one.
