Kez 2,727
Things are going very well under him and seems to have everyone's support.Just hope the support remains the same under a poor run of form too.Wishful thinking there mate, this is Chelsea FC. CHOULO19 24,332
Exactly think we know what will happen if we go on bad run...If? We can't hope to go unbeaten till the end of time. A bad run is almost inevitable in any team's season. It's what the manager does to get the his team out of it as soon as possible. This has always been one of SAF's important abilities. Laylabelle 9,535
No dont reckon we'll go unbeaten this season but might somehow avoid a run and maybe just have the odd loss rather then a run of them as we have in the past

We are bound to slip up here and there a bit but just hoping that it's not a prolonged poor run especially when the league are much more competitive these days. TheCount 146
There are a couple of other problems with the 4-3-3. The main one is that it moves Hazard and Mata to wingers from a more central position. Hazard is most effective up the middle behind the striker. Ideally, you'd want Hazard and Mata being the creators. Moving them to the wing puts more emphasis on them crossing the ball and running up and down the wings. Chelsea actually spent about 80M pounds in the last two years on players that should be playing behind the striker. It just doesn't make sense to switch to a system that would remove that position entirely.Good.

Jase 43,479
That reminds me of the contrasting reactions of both AVB and Wenger on the touchline when Van Persie scored that late breakaway goal at the Bridge last season.
Kez 2,727
AVB is such a moron. Robbie out classes him in every way!
Kojo 4,676
I really want him to do well, i tell you what if he doesn't get sacked and has a good season, then good on him. This is one of the hardest jobs on the world, with our owner and constant pressure, if he deals with that for another season, i would extend his contract. Ollie 4,400
We looked so hard for the best manager. Mourinho, European Cup winner, Scolari, World Cup Winner, Ancellotti, multi time European Cup Winner, AVB, Europa league winner who was young, knows the club and seemed perfect for the long term future but all along, the man was former player Di Matteo who was brought back to the club to be AVB's number 2 who's only managerial jobs were in MK Dons and WBA!! It's unbelievable and just shows you what bringing back ex players who love the club does. He's been perfect, he's so calm and the players almost play off his calmness. Yes, the Emirates, it's quite a hard place to go, WHL, we know it will be hard etc etc he doesn't care where we go or who we are playing, he has so much faith and confidence in his men.I want him to get a long term contract. He's earned it big time.
YankinBlue42 72
I feel like RDM is only being used as a stop gap before the board and Roman are able to bring in the guy they really want. Even if that happens, RDM should be commended for everything he's done. Such a great manager it's now proven and a great representative of Chelsea FC, something we're in desperate need of at the moment.
5354 204
If RDM can constantly motivate players and attract stars to Chelsea, why not? I dont mind him staying longer as long as we dont screw up
TheCount 146
I think bringing in that slimey cunt guardiola would be the final straw, chelsea becoming everything i hate, be a sad day, if i was a lesser man i'd jump ship to madrid then, but thankfully im not lol.Keep De matteo, only man i'd want him changed for is Mourinho and even then only if we really had to or if de matteo has had a respectable run as manager that he justly deserves.
