Term-X 7,891
I suppose this will appease relations with Vitesse after AVB cancelled that pre-season friendly. A friendly in which, AVB and the squad would have been legally obliged to smoke weed on the pitch, and pass blunts to the fans.I digress. Fernando 6,585
Was part of DL deal.Vitesse have improved a lot this season, atm they are 6th. Kalas is also there and he's playing regularly.Good to know. What has happen to Davila? Delac never did good playing here.
We Hate Scouse 10,326
Good to know. What has happen to Davila?Delac never did good playing here.Davila has made 3 first team appearances since joining, but is more of a regular in the reserves. Tomas Kalas is also on loan there and has made 15 appearances and has got himself 2 assists.
LDN Blue 7,903
Delac never did good playing here.Delac isn't even playing for his new loan club. His cause is over, such a shame.
BlueDutchy 63
I really think Vitesse can compete for European football and with a bit of luck for the title. They have a good, young team, defensively very strong (with Kalas as a regular) and they bought Reis a couple of weeks ago. Reis is incredibly talented but had a lot of trouble off the pitch. If he really focusses on football, he could become a big player. They have a good defence and with Reis en Bony very dangerous attackers. I certainly wouldn't call it the black hole and I think this is a very good loan voor Van Aanholt. Hope he can develop like Bruma and Kalas. BlueLion. 21,491
Pointless. Might as well sell him now.
Tomo 21,751
I think either need to do one of 2 two thing's with this lad. Either sell him or try and 'do a Bale' and turn him into a winger, which could save us a few quid if we pull it off.Don't mean to sound harsh but the guy cannot defend for shit, Leicester fans could not stand him, he got dropped at Wigan near enough as soon as he started playing and he's been dropped at Vittese for poor display's and too say he is not a crowd favorite their is a understatement. So maybe we should try and convert him to a LW? Because unless we play teams with next to no attacking threat teams will cause no end of problems to us with him playing LB.
CHOULO19 24,332
Apparently he's not doing too well at Vitesse:Patrick van Aanholt - PvA was an unused sub this weekend after a relatively poor week last weekend. He's certainly not been a crowd favorite since joining Vitesse, and his loan spell in general has been a bit disappointing. How he fares for the Dutch U21 side this summer will be interesting.http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/4/2/2920052/chelsea-fc-loan-roundup-4-2-
Justin_3d 1,140
The last game of Vitesse against AZ Alkmaar PVA was on the bench.Kalas still continue to be a main starter.I think at this rate is over for PVA at Chelsea. If he can't get in a starting role at Vitesse is over.Just like it was for Delac.
Tomo 21,751
What the fuck do we do with him? Looked out of his depth in the Championship and now is out of the matchday squad at Vittese, either we try and do a Bale with him or get what we can. LDN Blue 7,903
Bit over the top reaction there Tomo? He was impressive when I saw him play for Chelsea, just the curse of a failed loan, the guy who removed him must be better. Get him back to Cobham and let him play reserve football till a better loan offer (lol) comes in.Newcastle fans adored him when we sent him a loan there, so he's not all bad. I just don't see him becoming a quality LB at Chelsea. His development has stalled & now is the best time to make a decision about his future at the club....do we help him convert into a LW or do we sell him off. The same w/ Bertrand. Both have game from the left side of the pitch. At least we have options from that side. I believe this has happened due to Ashley Cole taking these guys under his wings. I have read as much.
Madmax 9,219
No way can he dislodge Ryan as rotational LB as things stand, midfield may well be where he can make a case for himself.
capriccioso 2,545
Left wing? Why not. It'll be a while before Cole goes down the Paulo Ferreira route of making 3 appearances a season and by that time he could be ruined.
Hannah 200
He will be playing for Vitesse for another season. http://www.vitesse.nl/en/news/message/patrick-van-aanholt-nog-een-seizoen-in-arnhem/2735
CHOULO19 24,332
Yeah that was predictable since he won't get a look in with Cole and Bertrand here.
OneMoSalah 8,886
So is it just me or is Van Aanholt's possible Chelsea career over? Development has stalled something awful, might be a case for the left wing but I don't see it especially with Mata, De Bruyne, Hazard and Marin who can all play there and will probably be here for a fair amount of years. Feel slightly sorry for him as he obviously was talented but I think his chances of making it here are non-existent now.
Jase 43,479
Have not really seen too much of him but heard that he is terrible defensively.
