would be sad to see him go. one of my favourite players over the last few seasons. i wonder what player should step up next, juliano never had a fixed position, maybe Mancienne could be nurtured into that, but not the quality yet of Juliano, but would be okay...sad though

I have said this before and i will say it again. I do not think Michael will fit in that position with his current build. Watching him at wolves and even in the few games he played with us, he gets pushed off the ball to easily. That said he has alot of talent and will improve and i hope if he is given the opportunity he proves me wrong.

He just needs to bulk up. I remember Cristiano Ronaldo was even thinner/weaker than him when he first came but grew stronger each season with ManUre.

It's time for us to start putting ability over experience. Belletti has been a good player for us but it's time to build a new generation Chelsea squad, and Belletti along with a few others should be moved on to allow to do that building and not keep them in the squad for the wrong reasons i.e. Experience and for sentamental reasons..

I think he's a brilliant squad utility player with plenty of experience, would love to keep him on. He can play across the back four, all over the midfield. Brilliant.

Don't see what we've got to lose by keeping him. He can play anywhere in midfield and across the back four. He isn't on ridiculous wages (by our standards anyway) and seems very popular amongst the other players. We don't have to make him our first-choice sub, but he can be able backup. If he signs a new deal, he'd have to agree to be second fiddle to some youngsters I'd imagine, however. But this is all elementary because most Brazilians want to end their career in their homeland, I imagine he will too.

He can play all along the back 4 and can play in midfield in a defensive role or as a bit of a play maker. He's a great squad man but it wouldn't be a surprise if he goes, he's getting on a bit. I don't really care either way, he's a commited player that always gives what he can (unlike Ballack, Mikel and Kalou)

Needs to go, it will be good to get rid of some deadwood in our squad. Sure, he can be reliable when we do need him during an injury crisis, but his age just puts him below our players, and plus, giving his spot to a youth player would surely be more beneficial for us.
