James playing there looks really, really atrocious. He is poor, unathletic, clueless, doesn’t contribute well enough to ball progression going forward, and can’t cover well because he seems slow in that position. He just gives us casual, slow long passes, without enough dynamic movement which makes our setup look horrible. Meanwhile, Acheampong does everything our inverted wing-back should do: he’s energetic, athletic, drives the ball forward, speeds up the tempo, and covers well.
