Outside of his one chance the team don't look for him when he makes his runs like the do NJ which is strange he's always been they oof the shoulder type striker

Nkunku looks totally finished, sure he can finish if you drop him into a clear 1:1 but he doesn't have the tools to get himself the chances (speed, strength, work rate)

Felix is just in the squad for vibes, should not even be in the squad for PL days.

He's had extensive layoffs in recent years and had no chance of even regain some form. It seems like a move away is inevitable.

I totally agree that this shouldn't be a constant thing but from time to time to mix things up and have more of a threat than "just Palmer", which has been the case thus far tonight.

Not even starting on that ridiculous dive that was given as pen against us or Felix still being an excuse of an attacker. These last 215 minutes of football from us show exactly why we are so far off competing for the title even though it looked like it for a wee bit. While there have been instances where we have managed to turn things around, doing so vs a hostile ref and a low block/deep bus has frustrated this team to the point they keep missing all of the decent chances they create. Top teams find a way this team does not.

Much as I was a fan of and was super excited when we signed Nkunku, he just doesn’t look right for this team. He just kind of casually jogs around doing hardly anything. He needs to be replaced next month if possible. Best for both parties.

Replace him with an actual, natural striker. One who preferably runs their socks off and makes themself a menace like Delap has today.

The penalty decision and instant VAR check was absurd. Jorgensen avoided him well and Delap dangles his leg out behind him and drags it into the keeper. That’s never a pen.

VAR should just be scrapped. Doesn't do anything useful still, and makes it even more aggravating when wrong decisions happen. Plus the constant stoppages. Fuck VAR.

Meh games this time of year are always a nightmare. 

Delap has Tosin on toast, he looks frightened of him every time the ball goes to him which is worrying. If we can get a good deal on a right footed CB in January, we should definitely do it, Tosin was never the answer long term. 

And if tonight is evidence of one thing, it is again that Felix has been an absolute waste of money. Said it the day he signed here, far too inconsistent and can’t rely on him when it matters. If he and Nkunku (should have been used more at times this first half of the season) ate to leave in January then that would definitely give us scope to sign another number 9, even with Jackson’s improvement this season. But again its hard to find an actual established number 9 for a good price at all, never mind in January.

if that is a pen, no gk can ever run out of his goal to shorten the angle ever again. Jorgensen does everything right there, pulls some awkward reverse shrimp pose to get his hands out of the way, Delap drags his leg a mile looking for contact, does not get enough, then does another step and goes off like a seal. It looked like a Monty python sketch in every single replay. Criminal no on field review was recommended. This is exactly what VAR is there for
