Fulham Broadway 17,317
They have won just one of their last 14 league games against us (D6 L7) and are winless in seven against the Blues since a 1-0 home win in August 19, but as we know v Fulham records get broken. We have played more Premier League away games without ever winning against Ipswich than they have vs any other opponent, though four of our five visits to Portman Road have finished level -so head says a draw, heart says COYB we can do this

Pizy 18,918
Just a few days ago we had the opportunity to go 10 points clear of City and more or less stop worrying about them at all. Now because of two shit results for us in the span of a week they’re just 4 points behind us now. Fail to beat Ipswich tomorrow and we go from sitting pretty in 2nd last week to being in a genuine fight for just top 4 again. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ bigbluewillie

Brighton in 10th, Spurs 11th, Man Utd 14th. All of the teams around them are very good too. This league is really, really hard.
Mário César 1,274
well liverpool are too strong atm and no one can beat them lets fight for second place and build a good foundation to fight for the title next season, with a new gk, cb and hopefully a new striker

Forest suddenly appeared as well! Be a tight top 4 but nice we are involved with it rather then trying to break into the top half as we've had before

Just because we are Chelsea? The other teams got a result that was fair based on how they performed vs how we performed on the day. The score lines quite literally show that. From memory we were robbed vs Palace by the ref a bit but by and large we got what we deserved in all these games. We have to be better if we want to get better results. We have hardly been robbed all season tbh.

Pizy 18,918
We looked like we’d be comfortable top 4 finishers before this past week. Now, depending on tomorrow’s result, it could be a real fight that we could be dragged back into. That’s all I was saying. We could’ve effectively discounted all of these teams all the way down to Villa in 9th had we won against teams in Everton & Fulham who you’d expect a team of our quality and in the run of form we were in to beat. Shit, even if we had won one of those. Now we’re 1 more poor result away from those sides being able to reel us in. That was nearly unthinkable not long ago with the way we were going. You just expect us to get 100 pts a year..just because? number one, it doesnt matter that we are not in the CL in terms of challegening for the title I also have never once this season claimed we are good enough to win the title Pool are simply too good (and I removed the 2 1 loss as a dropped point gainst them) I also have NEVER (since I joined this board, and before that) claimed we are a 100 point side, only ONE EPL team ever (Citeh, 2017-18) tallied 100 points only 5 have earned 95 or more (and 4 of the 5 happened in a 3 season span 2017-2020) very few teams even have talled 90 (14 ever) EPL teams with the most points in a single season: 100 points Manchester City, 2017-18 99 points Liverpool, 2019-20 98 points Manchester City, 2018-19 97 points Liverpool, 2018-19 95 points Chelsea, 2004-05 93 points Manchester City, 2021-22 93 points Chelsea, 2016-17 92 points Liverpool, 2021-22 92 points Manchester United, 1993-94 91 points Manchester City, 2023-24 91 points Chelsea, 2005-06 91 points Manchester United, 1999-2000 90 points Manchester United, 2008-09 90 points Arsenal, 2003-04 I do not care how you spin it, those draws were massive fails, we should have won them all, watching the games, plus blowing the game and losing againbst FULHAM at the Bridge, an event that had not happned since the 1970s sorry, but I refuse to say 'oh well, shit happens'

You recently said we had dropped 12 points, which would put us on 47 after 18 games, which if you extrapolate forward would be approximately 100 points by the end of the season. It does not seem realistic to me. Overall I am pretty impressed with the progress we've made and feel like our place in the table is pretty fair based on how we've performed, and don't really feel like we've "dropped" many points - although I'm not sure I even know what that term even means anymore. That is 38 points in 19 games. 76 in toto if we produce the same amount in 2nd half. Let's say we do NOT equal our first half total. Lets say we produce 33 points. 71 total. Due to so many bad teams and so many good teams, that could be on the edge of losing out on CL. IF we lose to Ipswich, it is then a dire trend we are setting up, as we will be tracking to only 70 points IF we duplicate the 1st half, and say, 65 in toto if we produce 5 points less in the 2nd half versus the 1st. Dropping so many points against poor teams is NOT a good trend at that point.
