I think the club has given up on aguero, i think frank arnesen and the team are really pushing for neymar to be signed.

Well I don't think there is a point in chasing a player whose bosses don't want to sell him. If Aguero wanted to play in Chelsea so much he shouldn't sing that contract in January if I remember correctly.

Exactly. We have been pursuing him for too long and he has turned us down over the course of 2 windows. The world doesnt revolve around Sergio Aguero. If Aguero wants to really come to Chelsea he will need to come to an agreement. He cant hold us ransom to ridiculous wages and act like he is God-Sent to our team and that we should consider ourselves blessed to have him in our squad. Thats the type of character that will be well suited at City, so move along Aguero, you've missed YOUR chance and not the other way around.

I feel its not Aguero, its Atletico thats holding us to ransom. He's made a come-and-get-me offer way too many times to show any hint of him being smug about a move to Chelsea, or him coming here for money. I think he's one of those players who genuinely wants to come here to win something, to match their caliber with the club they're in. So i dont think he's the problem. However Atleti are cash-strapped, and Aguero is their chance to get as much money as they can.

If Aguero really wanted a move to Chelsea he would put in a transfer request and there would be nothing that AM could do about it. Too much player power nowadays, and even if AM refused the request, he could go to court to get it pushed through.

Tbh, I'm not that fussed on him and never have been. There are better options out there for less money and just as lethal if not more in front of goal.

i have to disagree with all of those who are saying that aguero is not vital or too expensive and suggesting that there are better and cheaper options.

let's face it Drogba is gonna turn 33 anelka is too old as well ... with in two years we will have a problem in that area as those two are gonna be too old and sturridge will not be ready yet to be the main CF of the EPL champions and kalou ... well he is kalou ...

right now we need a right winger as well so imo he will do great there and will be a great as a CF or SS when Drogba and anelka are past it .

he is a great player who have done wonders with A.Madrid he will fit in perfectly in our team and will do great in EPL he is a skillful moe talented version of tevez he has this great balance lightening speed his movement is super and his finishing is very sharp so what else do we need .... i would pay up to 45 millions fo this guy ..

if ronaldo or messi or rooney is worth 80 millions then aguero is definitely worth 40 o 45 millions ...

I guess this is when we move in? Now City are already tied up with a striker, so now we dont need to fight a bidding war. However, looking at the ManU message boards, they seem pretty confident of signing Aguero aswell. :/

Aguero has himself specifically said hes interested in Chelsea. Had he simply said EPL, we could have considered Man Uniteds chances, but at the moment, we SHOULD be favorites to sign him. Carlo however has other plans apparently.

Football spy video, Chelsea Special - he seems to think there's a better chance of us signing Aguero than Torres now. Dont really know if this is any kind of decent source, but still I hope he's right!
