I dont think there will be a problem in that respect, Scolari was the person who made him who he is today and I think under Scolari, a manager who knows him, he will do brilliantly.

I think had Shevchenko come back to a former Gaffer similar to what Scolari did for Robinho then he would have done ok too.

Scolari has never coached Robinho.

For TOCFCWS: "I don't train Robinho, never trained Robinho, but I like him because his style is different. And if he tries to dribble several times, he is a different player, and we need one player inside the pitch who can make a difference," Scolari said.

From skysports:

Ramon Calderon says Real Madrid will not sell Robinho to Chelsea and suggests the courts will have to decide what the Brazilian must pay to terminate his contract.

Robinho has expressed his wish to leave Real before the close of the transfer window in order to link up with Premier League side Chelsea.

Real responded to the forward's comments on Friday by revealing they would not want to keep an unhappy player at the Bernabeu.

However, Real appear to want Robinho to buy his way out of his contract, rather than look to negotiate a deal with Chelsea.

When asked if he would be prepared to accept an offer from Chelsea of 40million euros (£32m) or 50million euros (£40m), Real president Calderon was firm in his response.

Disrespectful

"No," he told radio station Cadena SER, "because transfers must be done when the competition ends, not five days after the start of the season.

"It is disrespectful to the club, history and the fans.

"We want Robinho to stay in Madrid, but this situation leaves us unable to do anything.

"He could terminate his contract and the courts would decide what he has to pay."

Different

Chelsea have already had an offer for Robinho rejected and manager Luiz Felipe Scolari believes the 24-year-old would provide his team with a different dimension.

Scolari said: "I have never coached Robinho, but he is different and we need a player like that - a player on the pitch who makes a difference.

"If we have only one system of play, it will be easy for our opponents. If we need to change the system, we need a different player and Robinho's style is what we want.

"At the moment, I don't know the situation. Real have a player and they put a price on him. I have a good squad, but if I have one more player, that would be good."

Real Madrid should allow Robinho to join Chelsea according to goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Spain international Casillas understands his Brazilian team-mate wishes to sign a long-term contract with The Blues and he has urged chairman Ramon Calderon to accept his request.

The European champion wants his squad to be composed of players who are committed to the cause, which is not the case with the wantaway Robinho.

Casillas, probably the best shot-stopper in action at present, is adamant the atmosphere within Los Merengues’ dressing room will be better without a player who is desperate to leave.

“Robinho doesn’t want to stay, that’s why the club must find him a way out,” Casillas told Spanish reporters. “They’ll have to transfer him for the right price for the good of Real Madrid.

“We want to keep a very united and strong squad. If Robinho wants to leave we have to help him find a new place to be.

“The most we can obtain for the player is the best for the club.

“At this hour a Real Madrid professional player must be focused on this club, not on another one that is not paying him.”

From Setanta sports.

Casillas is 100% correct, a player wanting to leave has a negative effect on a side - look at Berbatov and Spurs.

I'm watching the game at Espn-Brasil and Paulo Vinícius Coelho (Brazil's most credible sports journalist and full of contacts) just said that on monday the parties will sit down and a deal is most likely to be finalised. Let's wait and see.
