In todays Marca, including direct quotes from Robinho.

Translates too:

Robinho surprised all this Fridays demonstrating its intentions to leave Real Madrid facing temproada the 2008/2009 to leave to play the Chelsea. The Brazilian assured that its objective for the new campaign happens far from the possibility of remaining in the white set and gave to understand that the supply that has put on the table the English club would be satisfactory for all the parts.

“I have the illusion to play the Premier. The Chelsea has a great group, a great equipment and a good supply has done me, as much for me as for Real Madrid. I do not have anything against my present equipment, to which very I am been thankful, but at this moment my objective is to leave and I hope here that everything is solved as rapidly as possible”, commented Robinho in an interview granted to agency EFE.

It asks for to the club his crossing

Brazilian, that broke the silence that had maintained around its future during the preseason, requested its exit of the white set, equipment in which feels that it has fulfilled a cycle, and insisted to the madridista directive to that it accepts the supply of the English club. “My personal objective is to be the best player of the world and here that does not go if possible. It is for that reason that I want to play the next season in the Premier. Already him to the president, the managers and the trainer who my objective is not to follow in Madrid”, it assured.

Robinho, that of this form took a step firmly to leave the white discipline, wanted to until now pass on at the same time to the madridista liking its gratefulness by the received support. “The thought worries to Me about the fans, who think that I do not do it well because I have the head in the Chelsea. At this moment it is better than it does not play and that they solve my situation as rapidly as possible. If it had to send a message all of them it is thanks. Thanks for the affection and the treatment that they had with me”, added the Brazilian player.

Robinho: "I want to go to Chelsea"

http://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/robinho-...dasdasftb_1/Tes

Robinho has taken a firm step to leave Real Madrid. Through an interview at his home with Reuters, made public his desire to leave Chelsea. Quiet. With a clear message to convey, the Brazilian takes a momentous step for your club to request the transfer.

It approaches the end of the period of signings and its future remains unresolved, what is your intention?

Queda en el Real Madrid is not my goal for next season. Respect much to the club, the players and especially the fans, who always treated me well, but it's not my goal. I have a good proposal for me and the club also, and my goal next season is not continue at Real Madrid.

What are the reasons?

The key is that I have the illusion of playing the English League. Chelsea have a great squad, a great team, a proposal is good for me and the club. I have the goal of playing there. I have nothing against Real Madrid, I am very grateful because I have been given many things, has given me a very large projection, but at this point my goal is to leave Real Madrid. I hope that can be resolved as quickly as possible.

Speaking of excited about playing another league but since many pockets are pointing to money. Is not the economic aspect the main reason?

It is not for money, simply because I have the goal to leave. My personal goal is to be the best player in the world and at Real Madrid this is not going to be possible. So, I have the goal of playing next season in the English League.

In Spain is always spoke of beginning and end of cycles, have you finished the Robinho at Real Madrid?

I think so. He completed a cycle. He played three seasons at Real Madrid, I gave my maximum. I have goals, he won two leagues, which is not easy. I believe that my time at Real Madrid has reached the end. I hope that managers reach an agreement with Chelsea to resolve my situation as quickly as possible.

There have been many similar cases in reverse, with Real Madrid player. Without going any further departure from Santos or recently the case of Cristiano Ronaldo. Is it a compelling reason for the club understands his position?

Already I told him that the president, directors and the coach also, it is not my goal to continue at Real Madrid. Each player has a personality, I have mine and he had not spoken to the press to avoid controversy. Now I'm telling the truth, I want to leave, and I have the personality of the press by saying that I do not have the goal of staying at Real Madrid. I thank the fans love her, the players with whom I have a friend for life, but my goal next season is to play the Premier League.

He speaks at all times in good relationship with all the costumes, is equally good with Bernd Schuster?

My relationship with the coach and players is the best. I was fortunate to have some good mates who have always treated me well, I have an enormous affection by all players, without any exception, Spaniards and foreigners. For Schuster, too. I think this is a great coach who never had a problem. I have nothing bad to talk about the players or the coach.

Will refused to play the first leg of the Supercup in Valencia?

No. I told the coach on Valencia but I want my situation resolved as quickly as possible. I want to play for the Premier League, I head there, but from the moment that the coach puts me to play I do one hundred percent. First because I have a T-shirt, behind a hobby that requires a lot, second because the field is my image that I convey to others and third by the whole workforce, because if I go to a loose ball is harming the entire staff and that's not I like. When it came to play what I butt, sometimes I get and others do not, but always at the top game.

Calls to Real Madrid that he venda, what are the next steps forward?

The next step is that managers understand my situation, resolve it as quickly as possible, but I will continue as a professional that I am. I have never missed any training Real Madrid, he trained every day and I will continue to do so. About playing, I do not know if I will play or not, mainly because if things do not I get good people can say that I am not leaving because I am the head there. To avoid this type of comment is better than Schuster put other players.

It criticized his performance in the first leg, does it hurt the situation to pay living below their level?

I tried to give me the most. Of course I want thoughtful and everything is resolved as quickly as possible, but when I entered the field I try to forget everything that's happening outside and I try to give the maximum.

What message left at the end of Real Madrid fans?

If I had to mandar a message to the fans is thanks. Thank you for your affection and treatment that took me.

In his quotes, he says he has 'an amazing financial offer' from Chelsea, or something along the lines of.

Does that mean that Real have allowed us to discuss terms with him?

Or is it all just through his agent?

Definately through his agent i would have though. But Robinho's comments are very interesting indeed....

Good news guys. Real Madrid have released the following statement:

1. Real Madrid are aware of Robinho's words whose content saddens them due to the high consideration and personal and professional esteem the club has for the player.

2. Real Madrid will never retain a player contrary to his will, which means there is not other option than accepting the unilateral contract release if that was Robinho's case too.

Jesus Christ. So it looks like they're resigned to losing him. But do we sign him? Don't get me wrong, he is a brilliant player, but will he work out in the Premier League? My gut instinct says yes, but he is young and it will take a lot of money to bring him to the Bridge. That will put him under a lot of pressure to perform and might have a negative affect on his growth. I think he's be a great signing - would be brilliant to see him and Joe Cole on the wings with Drogba up top, with Deco, Lampard and Essien supporting.

Real Madrid have revealed they are prepared to allow Robinho to move on after the Brazilian asked to leave.

Robinho has cut an unhappy figure in recent weeks after he was linked with a switch to Manchester United as part of a deal for Cristiano Ronaldo.

He has been targeted by Chelsea, with the Premier League club confirming they had made an offer for the gifted forward.

The Spanish champions had previously resisted all offers for Robinho, saying the 24-year-old was not for sale.

No alternative

However, on Friday, Robinho reiterated his desire to leave the Bernabeu in order to link up with Luiz Felipe Scolari's Chelsea.

Real have responded to Robinho's comments and admit they do not want to keep an unhappy player in Bernd Schuster's squad.

"Real Madrid have become aware of the declarations by the player and deeply regret their content," read a statement on the club's official website.

"Real Madrid would never want to retain a player against his wishes and as a result they have no alternative, but to accept his unilateral decision to rescind his contract if that is what the player wants."

It is unclear whether Real are now prepared to enter into negotiations with Chelsea to reach agreement on a fee for Robinho.

The other alternative is for Robinho to come to a deal with Real to terminate his contract, which has a buy-out clause of 150million euros (£120million).

Yeah I agree with this actually. Remember we paid £30 million to sign Shevchenko, but he didn't deliver for us. Maybe the same caution could be for Robinho, so who knows??

Nonetheless, I'm pleased to know that Robinho wants to come to Chelsea :)
