laura90 556
Coach partnership in Carlo and Wilkins came closest to Jose tenure in coaching department. The breaking up of that - for absolutely no reason whatsoever - was the turning point in the Premier League. Champions league aside, this club as been going downhill ever since Wilkins sacking . That and putting more faith in one useless player than any manager who did good for us put us where we are now. We are a club that is not set up or run well from an administrative perspective. This is a long running problem and we have glossed over it for years because the trophies have kept coming. Some even went as far as feeling that our maladaptive structure was the reason for our success rather than our success happening inspite of it..we may finally now have to face the harsh realities and the bitter truth.Owner that controls everything with a bunch of number crunchers and Yes men on the board.A technical director in way over his headNo organizational strategy or long term planA manager that knows that he will be out this summer that doesn't care if the team looses because he will just say the board didn't listen to himPlayers that lacks urgency, passion, fight, determination, Fans that can't stop booingThe arrogance and fickleness of our board and how our club is run has crept into our team. Roman and his advisors are learning the hard way. Whilst skill and ability helps win matches, its passion that is often more decisive. The passion has been drained out our club and dressing room . Believing that sometime in summer a right man will come and most problems will be solved is quite romantic, but so far from the truth. The solution is far more complicated. Amblève. 4,995
That's because we have ran out of options, all thanks to Roman's impatient attitude.I'm not sure anymore if it's Roman who's being impatient. I could imagine Emenalo, Gourlay or some other idiot having a bad influence on the club's decisions...But you are right. The club's doing itself no favour if the managers are being sacked after a few months' time every season.

Tbh the more I think about the more surreal it is becoming to me that such a business man like Roman would make the same mistake again and again without someone else having a word to say. Blue Gino 377
Speaking of Ray Wilkins he said the Fernando Torres move was all down to Carlo. Carlo came to Roman with a list and Roman funded it. I always thought it was Roman's fantasy purchase.
zolayes 14,489
I want BENITEZ OUT ,,,,,but having said that things wont change until Roman changes his attitude .1 Get rid of the non football men ... Emanalo and his spy Marina ,,,get a new CEO ...2 Get someone to take charge of the academy ,,it patently isnt producing.3 Take advice from Hiddink as to our next coach4 Bring back wilkins as assistant .5 SPEAK TO THE FANS at least every 3 months But cant see any of the above happening
Blue Gino 377
Not going as far back as some Chelsea fans can, I didn't know about Gus Poyet "kissing the cock" as they say in front of Chelsea's bench as a Spuds player, but he is sorry for that and was aiming his emotions at Ranieri not the fans. Having said that, he's never managed in the top flight, managed only a few years, but is an ex Blue. He is getting slack from Brighton fans lately for tactically not having a plan B. Something that was brought up about Di Matteo's tactics as well. At first I thought he'd be a good hire but now I think his appointment would be another ticking time bomb. Same goes for Zola. They need to stay away and build their success elsewhere.
