The Next Manager?

Moyes, a manager who plays this Pro-English game with Everton (playes Fellaini as a CAM... my god) is the best option and Simeone who makes Atletico play with such great pressure at opponents, and he's a proven tactican who also won EL+Super cup, and got them to 2nd place in La Liga so far, is the worst? thats science fiction for me. Have you realy seen Atletico in the last year?

And its coming from a Brazilian which is even weirder... i would love to know what you like in Moyes and dont like in Simeone.

Edit: oh right Simeone is Argentine

Remember AVB and his Porto?

Roman Abramovich was willing to pay the Catalan €20 million a season after tax and arm him with a €100-150 million war chest to reinforce the squad in the transfer market. He was even willing to lay on a helicopter to take the coach to and from training every day.

shows how desperately he wanted him. someones going to pay the price of snubbing Roman which led him to this position.

ok, so not every manager who won EL would have sucsses here, i got this point i think, what more? you've explained nothing in this post.

AVB played the style Roman want, and bla bla bla. Simeone will follow AVB and RDM path.

I want Nigel Adkins :)

Cannot believe Southampton just fired him!

Hope they get relegated! 2 defeats in last 12 games is awesome form for a team of Div 1 and Championship players...

Adkins also looks and sounds like a really nice guy!

If there is such a thing as Karma - bye bye Southampton! But knowing my prediction skills they will probably beat us to a CL place - after amassing an amazing winning streak!!

It seems you still dont realy want to explain your original post (i mean the part about Moyes, and why Laudrup and Benitez are better options than Simeone).

But anyway- no, AVB tried to play his style from Porto, not what "Roman wanted", Roman probably brought him because he knew about his football philosophy and he thought thats what he wanted in Chelsea. Simeone plays tottaly different football in Atletico, kind a reminds Mourinho's philosophy. RDM proved (imo) in his days that he doesnt have a real good plan, he started by playing Ramires/Bertrand on the wing- which is pretty defensive, probably not what "Roman Wants"... and than saw it doesnt work and played the three of Hazard, Mata and Oscar. Our game most of the time looked very improvised, with no real plan. So, i dont think RDM did what Roman wanted, he just didnt know what to do to lift the team and get it together. I havent thought he needed to get sacked, but it seemd he wasnt a great tactican (but maybe he would have done better later if he stayed, idk).
