The thing is that Hiddink hasn't done nothing new, is just following the same patterns from Mourinho. 

This is why I said before Bielsa would have been the best choice as interim, let him build the ground works and then have Sampaoli take over like at Chile.

Well this comeback just shows that the team is still good. There's a fight in them and you just need to make some good buys in the summer.

Also a good manager that will release the shackles, because Hiddink continues to be very conservative at times.

Jorge Sampaoli is free since an hour or so

Give him 3 years to work in peace, give him time and funds to shape his squad and don't intervene as long as we seat withing reach of top 4.

Someone from Guardiola, Simeone and Sampaoli should be mandatory in the summer.

The managers you've just named bar Pep are people that are either totally unproven like Sampaoli, cast-offs from clubs we're meant to rivals with (Pellegrini & Rodgers) or have managed teams who are the dominant ones in their weak leagues. Garcia was just sacked!

To be fair, having an underdog team performing well doesn't always translate to being able to do better things with better players.

I like Simeone and wouldn't complain about him coming to Chelsea. I'm just worried about a manager who hasn't spent any time in the Premier League and never had the money and expectations that come with managing Chelsea. Modern footballers are a finicky bunch and (without much paying attention to Atletico) can become a problem if they don't see eye to eye with the manager. I don't watch La Liga and don't pay much attention to Atletico, but I haven't seen how Simeone has dealt with problem players or problem situations.

Although we won't be to the same extent Leti were, we will be relative underdogs if we keep being stingy in the market.

Sampaoli has no experience of managing in Europe, has he? A big risk if we go for him. The last manager from South America we appointed turned out to be a disaster, let's not forget that.

I agree. And you couldn't even mention Scolari for me to associate Sampaoli with him. Nonetheless, Sampaoli was succesful on club level as well with Universidad de Chile. So he knows how to prepare the team for the entire season as it was one big Achilles heal for Scolari who prepared Chelsea like a national team for tournament.

To be fair that's only cons against Sampaoli. That he lacks expierience in Europe. I'd trust him anyway as he is strong character with such great personality and clear vision. It outweighs his lack of expierience in Europe.

Yes I have watched Chile, and I've also watched Brazil and Portugal under Scolari when they were dominant from 2002-onwards, and this was before Scolari was oppointed by us.

True but is he capable of adapting to (slightly) different style? He had good players at Universidad de Chile and Chile to carry out his high energy pressing, attacking game. Do we have the right players for that? I don't think so. Having a great personality and clear vision is one thing but one must also understand and be able to adapt to different demands of football - like in the case of Sampaoli if he comes to Europe.

I agree it's a risk because he has no experience of managing in Europe.Conte,Allegri or Simeone would probably be a better choice.If Sampaoli comes to Chelsea hopeffuly he can do somethink similar with us like he did with Chile.

Do we have right players for Guardiola ? No. For Simeone ? Negative. It needs transfers anyway whoever is in charge. And there will be transfers in summer, that thing I'm absolutely sure of.

Yes, Sampaoli is a risk. I don't think he will be first choice anyway. But if club is unable to sign Pep/Simeone I much rather want to see taking this shot with Sampaoli than Pellegrini/Juan Ramos or whoever else.

The situation needs patience at this club, especially at this moment in time with revolution in the squad looming and stadium redevelopment. As long as Sampaoli will be around top 4 and not fighting against relegation he can have few years to build his team.
