blu35_army 551
if he consistent to improve his crossing (low or lob),,it gonna be another weapon besides hazard's dribble to break the "bus park" tactic....
kellzfresh 7,229
Just keep those crosses low. I'm liking what I'm seeing now. If I can't curl it, why not drill it in instead? He even created a chance for eto which the defender slid in and blocked
Jase 43,479
I'm surprised how quiet this thread has been when Ivanovic, yet again, failed to close down a cross which in the end led to West Brom's equalizer. Just stood off Berahino with hands behind his back and no interest in putting pressure on the ball. Utterly pathetic! Should've had them in the air.

But yeah, putting his hands behind his back was awful. Should've had them in the air.Why does he even need to watch that FB run when he was a distance away and even Ramires tracking him, if anything? You could see the whole time his intention was just to get near Berahino but never bother to put pressure on the ball. And this is not even the first time he has committed such dreadful error when defending against crosses!

Popular Post! Joe Cool 388 Posted February 11, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted February 11, 2014 I have to say, his behavior towards Cech (the captain) and the official was utterly disgraceful. Stop arguing with the captain and shut the fuck up. What he did truly unsettled the team, which was a huge cause of our collapse tonight. kellzfresh, The Skipper, Jase and 6 others

Stop arguing with the captain and shut the fuck up. What he did truly unsettled the team, which was a huge cause of our collapse tonight. That really was the most insane thing of the night to me. I think Cech is so laid back that players feel they can have a go at him like that. I know he wouldnt have reacted like that to Terry.Should probably get a nice rest this weekend. CHOULO19 24,332
Would rather shout at the ref than actually defend. Cech had every right to yell at him. The nervousness at the back cause by this and a couple of defending mistakes is what gave WBA the belief and momentum to go forward and put us under pressure to get an equalizer. Before that they didn't create much. yuvala and The Mak

Have seen some said it was Mourinho and others said it was towards another player.
Mufassir08 2,400
Really Disappointed by Brana's behaviour. As for him not closing down the winger well thats classic Ivanovic really, nothing new.

Feel free to go back through this thread and quote the multiple (at least four occasions) times where I've said so. He just refuses to close the wingers done - that is a cardinal sin for any full back. Mufassir08

Iva is still a hoof ball specialist, in my opinion, his flurry decisions to kick the ball are wasted chances, I feel.

Besides his athleticism, he lacks the characteristics of a full-back. Square peg for a round hole... while we have Azpilicueta, arguably the best right back in the league, playing on the other side of the defence. Should Jose not give him another chance ?Azpi could easily rotate with Iva, Cole can play on his left, then. Left footed player on the left, right footed on the right or am I mistaken ? Iva has blundered on more chances than I like to see. BlueLion.
kellzfresh 7,229
He didn't close the winger like azpi does, it would have made the cross more difficult. At least he scored.I don't think this is the first time he has had a go at cech, I remember one match with AVB where someone crossed the ball and he didn't hear cech scream to leave it for him to catch and he ended up heading it for holt to score a free goal. He should be more respectful, westbrom got confident after that and our players became flat.

After Ash played against Stoke, he told people in his twitter not to get used to seeing him play. It's a shame because we loaned out Bertrand and now we have basically no options left if Cole's exile continues.
