Chase him all summer. Wait for him to make key moves in the transfer market. Pay Newcastle stupid money to finally get him…..and then make him some kind of weird scapegoat about transfers he probably had little to do with. INOES is the kind of ownership we all love to see at Manure!

Ok, if he really wanted Southgate, that is a firing squad offense!

INOES🤮🤮🤮

💬Sir Jim Ratcliffe asked by @UWSmag about Manchester United's Women's team: 'There’s only so much that you can do and our focus has been on the men’s team. If not, you get spread too thinly.🗯

‼️‼️United: Ratcliffe wants to "save a mediocre club"🗯🗯

💬Even under new coach Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's sporting record is mixed. Jim Ratcliffe, billionaire and boss of the Reds, now wants to get the club back on track with a firm hand and strict measures and is facing headwind from the fans.

Ruben Amorim took up his post at Manchester United in November as the great savior. The Portuguese coach had previously shaped an extremely successful era at Sporting Lisbon, winning two championships and two trophies in four years. The Red Devils, on the other hand, have now been waiting eleven years for a Premier League title. That should change as soon as possible. United boss Jim Ratcliffe wants to see to that.

After four points from the first two games under the new coach, two defeats followed against Arsenal FC (0:2) and surprise team Nottingham Forest (2:3). The English record champions are currently in a disappointing 13th place in the table. And the strong man at the top has had enough of disappointment.

Ratcliffe wants to finally bring success back to Manchester. "The club is now mediocre and we have to do something to save it," the 72-year-old told the newspaper after the defeat at the weekend.

Some "difficult and unpopular decisions"

were necessary to bring the club back to the top, the billionaire explained in an extensive interview with 'United we stand'. "United is not currently one of the elite and should actually be one of the best soccer clubs in the world. It certainly was under Alex Ferguson. There are big changes to be made to achieve elite status and there have already been big changes."

Means above all: the boss wants to save money wherever possible. "I know we get criticized in the press, but we have to question the cost of running this club because I want us to have enough money to buy really good footballers and not have to spend so much money on infrastructure. We can't run a business at a loss and that's what United have been doing in recent years," said Ratcliffe.

Every pound has to be turned over
The methods are tough. In the spring, the club made almost 250 employees redundant in order to save money.

At the beginning of the week, the decision was also taken to raise the price of Premier League tickets to the equivalent of at least 80 euros, with discounted tickets to be abolished in the future.

Fans have been protesting ever since.

For Ratcliffe, it's all just a means to an end: "We have to run the club efficiently and well. We have to turn over every pound so that we have more capacity to invest in players." However, these players should no longer cost huge sums of money and then fail to perform.

Amorim has already been told that his transfer budget is limited. The solution: bring in cheaper but better players. To achieve this, the scouting system is to be overhauled.

Scouting from the last century
"We're still in the last century," says the United boss. "And until we're as good as everyone else in the world, it's not good enough for Manchester United. We have to have the best scouting in the world.

Data analysis goes hand in hand with scouting. But it doesn't really exist at United."

A lot of changes are needed and "something like this doesn't happen overnight. You can't just flip a light switch.

It's about people and we have to find the right people," said Ratcliffe. But he has the necessary stamina for it - and is not afraid to make difficult decisions.🗯

‼️Carney Chukwuemeka has given his 'YES' to a move to AC Milan and is now waiting for the green light.

AC Milan's plan is to sign him in January on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

I always liked what I saw from him, but if Maresca doesnt see him in his plan, fair enough.

Their plan is for us to pay his wages for a year with an option to buy for a couple crackers and cheese. Cheap fuckers that are always looking to get everyone on the cheap.

England forward Cole Palmer, 22, is drawing attention from Real Madridbecause of his consistent performances at Chelsea. (Fichajes - in Spanish), external

I don't see Palmer leaving England, if City survive the 115 charges, they'll buy him back

Besides being a Chelsea fan, I don't see it would be a good move for Palmer. He has been the starboy of Chelsea and Premier League, he is on good way to establish himself among the best players on the planet. Real Madrid has Bellingham, Mbappe and Vinicius(let alone Güler, Rodrygo and Endrick). He would be starter there, but the team wouldn't be build around him, he would have difficult time getting all the free kicks and penalties, Vini and Mbappe would not seek to feed him and work under him like Sancho, Madueke or Neto.

I understand Real and Barcelona are allways attractive for footballers, but Palmer is still very young, he can join them few years later when situation is different. He already won everything with City bit with very little contribution, I feel he is enjoying now being the main man in his team, especially we are running for throphies now.

The rag stories are sometimes part of Real Madrid trying to stir the pot.

But yeah, Madrid can try in 2033. He's here for a decade 🥳

Why would we sell our best player back to a team we’re trying to surpass? And why would he want to return to the club that tossed him aside?

There's almost no chance of that happening. Palmer's next move will be overseas (if his trajectory remains the same).

With Sanchez  and without solid defender as Carragher said we cannot win the title . Despite the good results, you can't make such mistakes in every match as top team .

At the end of the day its what the sporting directors are paid for, if they cannot identify our glaring weaknesses then whatever superficial title charge we're on will be over pretty quickly.

I don't see Palmer leaving tbh, as long as we are at least respectably competitive in serious competitions and treat him right. I think he is absolutely loving life here and is genuinely thankful that we backed him when City didn't and have given him the big break he was fighting for for years. And the group around him is probably pretty much his dream setup.

At least that is the vibe I get from the guy. He just wants to play and get some chippie chips. How's he going to do that in Spain? Can you imagine him eating Spanish food? Or trying to learn the language?

He is opposite to Palmer when it comes to reading the game. Can read a type of moment but most moments he doesn’t know how to move around. At this age and stage. Most don’t see it like they slowly laugh less at but still at certain praises Palmer gets. You cannot be a top XI with liabilities in the side.
