We were told there’s now competent directors in place for all aspects of recruitment now so why is it that the club is still so chaotic in the window ? Deals till the last day. 

Because of leverage? Napoli had no leverage in this deal - and now they are stuck with an asset they have to pay that won't play. They will be looking to sell in January, and it will be at a far lower price again. 

You can't expect everything to go perfect. The ownership are getting rid of a lot of the dross and have upgraded the squad dramatically. They move quick, and own up to mistakes, hence the moves. 

Been a very good window. We have incredible depth upfront, have options in the middle. The only area that is of concern is the CB area - and we haven't really given Fofana and Levi time to settle as a partnership. For as meh as Badi and Disasi are, Disasi is a serviceable back up. Tosin can play the part when rest is needed too.

We loaned out our serviceable backup CB to Crystal Palace on deadline day. 😆

Disasi/Badiashile should have been told to go just like Sterling and the others.

This is indeed bizarre. I begrudgingly accept we have to sell our academy grads for pure profit bc of PSR but loaning them out makes absolutely 0 sense. Esp when they are superior to the options we are keeping in turn.

When you think about it, Arse don’t really have a traditional #9 either and are favorites for the league. Jackson and Havertz will likely put up very similar numbers and are of similar quality. So you don’t NEED a world class striker or even a classic striker at all to be a top team.

The big difference between us and them is that they have a world class defense that acts as a solid base that their team can build from.

Last night I saw some Osimhen addicts on here saying he rejected Saudi to stay in Europe and we have audacity to call him greedy, now it's confirmed by Romano, Osimhen was gonna accept the Saudi offer before they decided to withdraw because Napoli got greedy and started to ask for more money, hilarious. It's pure arrogance, they'd rather send him away on loan for free than admit the mistake they did to banish him in the first place.

Superior how exactly, because they can defend a little better? Let’s all stop pretending trev is a great defender for a second, if he was excluded from the team it’s because he can’t play the way the manager wants him to play, if he can’t even do it in training why would you want him on the pitch?

Diego Moreira’s move from Chelsea to Strasbourg earlier in the summer window for around £7.5m is being reviewed by the Premier League, UEFA, and FIFA.

Which part of my post that you just replied to did I say disasi’s name once? My post was about trev. Playing out from the back requires a particular skill set, if you stick players in there to do it who can’t, your asking for far more problems than been a bit better at defending, 

if you actually look at the signings for enzo rather than the shit they bought before, they all suit that profile of player, even tosin, great passer, axel had had a snif in a ECL cup qualifier and was shite! No ones defending disasi, him bads, noni mudryk will all be sold

IF we are going to get a 2 year transfer ban and it kicks in starting this winter

we are in serious trouble if a few key players get injured (Jackson, Fofana, Colwill, Jörgensen (assuming he comes good), Palmer)

We're stacked up front - we will be fine there. Defence is the only issue. Hardly grim - we had a great transfer window.

Veiga and KDH as midfield depth.

Neto and Felix for upfront depth and solid starting options (in turn less Sterling and Mudryk which is a massive plus). 

Lukaku out. 

We had so many of our best players injured last season like Nkunku, James, Lavia, etc that we can't bloat the squad any more to give them options. 

The only thing we missed out on was a CB of starting quality. I'm not confident there, and don't rate Levi that highly - but clearly they want to give the pairing a go. I think they deserve that opportunity.
