Tyler Adams is an interesting one, I guess we gain squad depth, some American-fan appeal, and a £20m asset that could become a £50m asset given the chance to play in a different system which will let him show his quality better. Lots of people reporting that he is under-appreciated because of the system/club he is playing in and we will be surprised by him. I have a lot of faith in our current scouts/directors so I'm inclined to believe he will win over the fanbase and prove to be a very astute signing at a measly £20m, he is not a sexy signing but as a pure DM and foil for Enzo? He could be an important jigsaw piece.

Bidding just £2m above what Liverpool did and £2m short of what Southampton want just sounds weird. As if our club got word that Liverpool were sniffing around Caicedo and wanted to fuck with them by bidding for their target.

How many times has Romano said all summer that our interest in Lavia remained? I remember reading it like 3 or 4 times.

Apparently we made an outright bid for Lavia without even notifying his agents. This upset Liverpool and in retaliation made a verbal inquiring for Caicedo.

The Kepa to Bayern Munich deal looks favourable to Chelsea. The club have been open to letting him go all summer if they find a replacement. Next summer will see less than 12 months on his contract, so an option to buy makes sense for both parties

If Chelsea do offload Kepa, expect more movement in the goalkeeper position. As mentioned earlier in the summer, Giorgio Mamardashvili has been looked at and is v much liked. Also

note how it's not straightforward to sell Kepa. His wages are high, he hasn't exactly set the world alight at Chelsea. So those saying 'make it an obligation', I'm sure Chelsea will be doing their best but again, not easy at all.

Peversly his 7 year contract is helping us at this stage.

With the way we were moving early on with the new ownership we would have 100% rewarded his October purple patch with a new contract if his current one was winding down.

I don't want loans for Kepa that don't include an obligation to buy, this is not a fuckin charity, if anyone wants him they commit to buy him. Losing him without guaranteed cash just weakens us.

De Gea is the obvious answer for Real Madrid isn't he?

Pretty sure this was posted before but worth a reminder...

I like the fact he played at Leeds too, who actually had quite a high possession and maintaining the ball type style. Say what you will, but this kind of stuff is handy - as it shows he can play in a bigger side, but also the fact that his tackling and dispossessing stats aren't simply due to him being in a smaller side.

Has our bid for lavia been rejected do we know?

Reported by some people as rejected yes, given it is so close to the £50m (supposed) asking price I would have expected they would - surely a couple of extra mil is ground we'll cover if we want him.
