Simon Phillips says we are still looking for a new goalkeeper no matter what the media tell us but this thing can drag on until the end of the transfer window. Every one of these reporters saying we’re pushing hard and advancing but that there’s still a concrete possibility that other clubs jump in and try to hijack him. I don’t want to get too emotionally invested in the move happenening because then if Arse for example hijack him it would be a gut punch. We already have an overload so essentially, sell 4 buy 4-5 and repeat every year making tidy profits. Not too bad and keeps performance as a benchmark to be in the first team.
