The Hato move seems to be happening at lightning speed. We must have been working on him behind the scenes for quite a while.

Good, wrap them up both fast and after we can chill and focus on outgoings.

Get them both done this week and that should be our transfer window done and dusted in terms of incomings.

Then we’ve got the entire last several weeks of the window to sell unwanted players and find great loans for others.

Simon Phillips says we are still looking for a new goalkeeper no matter what the media tell us but this thing can drag on until the end of the transfer window.

We also want a new right-footed central defender after Hato.

And the Garnacho move could unfortunately also follow.😐

I think Hato is 100% going to happen but I don’t want to get too confident about Simons just yet. Every one of these reporters saying we’re pushing hard and advancing but that there’s still a concrete possibility that other clubs jump in and try to hijack him.

I don’t want to get too emotionally invested in the move happenening because then if Arse for example hijack him it would be a gut punch.

Bayern is the other name mentioned but surely if they’re after Luis Diaz they don’t want Xavi as well?

Our transfer model is fairly simple, always have an overload of 5 or 6 sellable good players every year.

We already have an overload so essentially, sell 4 buy 4-5 and repeat every year making tidy profits.

Not too bad and keeps performance as a benchmark to be in the first team.

Cut throat in a good way, now that atleast 6-8 of our first 11 are nailed on starters.
