TheHulk 2,515
We could've got Cherki last summer for peanuts but they had to do background checks as if anyone gives a fuck when you have such a talent in your team. Same with Duran, while I didn't want him the alternative was getting some fraud kid called Kelly who we have no clue if he is even a footballer. Now instead of targeting the likes of Yidiz, Xavi, Guler, Rogers players who have potential of world class players, we buy some youngsters, players who at best will be decent and nothing more. These guys are clueless. Edited June 6 by TheHulk
Pizy 18,996
I get flop vibes from Ekitike. Just something about him when I watch his highlights. Maybe flop is harsh, but he definitely looks like a talent who will come nowhere close to living up to a monster transfer fee. You see Florian Wirtz who is going to cost over 100m and he absolutely looks like a 100m talent. Ekitike doesn’t look anywhere near that level. He looks like a player who at 50m you can take a chance on and hope he blows up and eventually becomes top class.

Fernando 6,603
I still stand by what I say the club has already shown me enough to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to strikers. So if they are big on that Frankfurt guy then go for it. As for defense they really have been woeful. Hence the Maignan link I'm not too fuss about. I'm not a fan of that guy. I rather go for someone like Chevalier.

bluesman2610 1,423
With us getting Delap in should we really be going after another tall striker and not someone who’s more adept in and around 18, can find the spaces between defenders. Vesper 30,320
Chelsea (estimated pre-tax loss limit in 2024-25: £300m) https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6384537/2025/06/05/psr-premier-league-clubs-risk/ PSR-busting tactics at Stamford Bridge have gained plenty of headlines in recent seasons, and for good reason. Through the intra-group sales of hotels, car parks and even their own women’s team, Chelsea have turned a rather tricky PSR position into one whereby they enjoy mammoth headroom — at least domestically. Chelsea’s pre-tax result across 2022-23 and 2023-24 was profitable at £38.3million, even before any costs are deducted from their PSR calculation — and the deductions they can make are chunky. That sale of the women’s team means they won’t benefit from any cost deductions in that respect in 2024-25, but they’re hardly necessary in terms of current compliance. Based on our projections, Chelsea could lose £300m and still comply with Premier League PSR. They’ll lose a lot, but nowhere close to that much. The picture is rather different in Europe, where UEFA strips out intra-group sales. Chelsea are already in talks over a financial settlement for a breach based on their accounts for 2023-24, and another hefty loss in the last one won’t smooth their position there. The club’s return to the Champions League next season will at least help for 2025-26. Edited June 6 by Vesper
Vesper 30,320
Arsenal make Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga main backup goalkeeper target https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6257012/2025/06/06/kepa-arrizabalaga-arsenal-transfer-Chelsea/ Arsenal have made Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga their main target as they seek to recruit a backup goalkeeper this summer. With Neto returning to Bournemouth after his loan, Arsenal are light on experienced goalkeeper options. After missing out on Espanyol’s Joan Garcia, who looks poised to join Barcelona, Arsenal are turning their attention towards the 30-year-old. While other options remain under consideration, Arrizabalaga is currently the preferred candidate. The Spain international, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, has a £5million release clause in his Chelsea contract. Arsenal see that as a potential market opportunity, enabling them to recruit a goalkeeper with Premier League and Champions League experience for an affordable fee. Arsenal are actively pursuing an agreement with the player and hope to persuade Arrizabalaga to join. Arrizabalaga made 35 appearances in all competitions and kept nine clean sheets last season as Andoni Iraola’s side finished ninth in the Premier League, their joint-best league finish with their most points (56). The 13-time Spain international joined Chelsea from Athletic Club for £71.6 million in the summer of 2018 and has made 163 first-team appearances for the English club, where he has won four trophies including the 2021 Champions League. Analysis Arsenal’s staff are long-time admirers of Arrizabalaga, and this is not the first time his name has been raised in recruitment conversations at the club. The affordable price means Arrizabalaga is expected to have various options this summer. One complication for Arsenal is that they already have an established number one in 29-year-old David Raya. Arrizabalaga is aware that Raya is in a secure position as Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper after a strong performance in 2024-25. Despite this, Arrizabalaga is still prepared to give Arsenal’s approach consideration.

As i mentioned earlier 1. we should avoid buying players from Bundesliga as they 95% flopping in PL. 2. Every FC Frankfurt Striker flopped in other leagues and they always asking almost 100m for they strikers. Recent strikes Eintracht Frankfurt sold: Jovic to Real (60m) flopped Kolo Muani to PSG (95m) flopped Omar Marmoush to City 75m probably will flop as well and never be main starter in PL, 16 appearance 7 goals, backup for Halland Sebastian Haller (50m) to West Ham flopped in PL Men they even scammed RB Leipzig with Andre Silva bought for 3m sold next year for 23m to Leipzig with he flopped as well in other Budesliga team. i do not know how they keep scamming other team this way, but it just the fact and numbers and performance proves it. We just should avoid at all cost by dealing with Frankfurt, cause this is to easy for them to scam rich teams with so so overrated players who only can perform in farmers league like Bundesliga. Not gonna be surprised if Writz will flop at Liverpool. Fernando

Recent history just showed what a stupid money they ask for they average strikers. So do not surprise if this happens, Chelsea probably bid between 85m-105m because they will ask.
