So with Veiga and Chilwell out who is going to be LB backup? Gusto? Don't forget we recently let Maatsen and Hall... What if Cucurella gets injured? Or do something we all know he is capable of and gets suspension for some games? Not to mention we cannot count on James staying fit so Gusto would not be a solution either. Horrible planning. In midfield as well. Veiga played some games there and Casadei was pretty regular in Conference League. We lost these two options and Lavia is out... That means after Caicedo and Enzo we have just KDH who is again out of position in pivot. Not sure they have any idea what they are doing...

We do have a lot of bodies so it makes sense trimming the squad. Gusto and Colwill will have to plug in at LB if Cucu is suspended/injured.

Hopefully pull the trigger on delap now... such a menace

Won't happen till the summer at least. Ipswich are in a relegation fight and selling Delap is suicidal at this point.

If the deal that's possible now are Garnacho and Ferguson, I would pass and wait for the summer. As much as I wanted the club to strengthen this month, they've done squat for 30 days. At least don't end the month with panic buys

Not to worry, the directors will soon sign a new winger to make up for lack of reinforcements.

They're also holding on to the mighty Disasi, so that he can realize his true potential and become the leader Thiago Silva was for us.

Evan Ferguson had 2 knee injuries starting in September 2023, the second one, in April 2024 he destroyed his knee far worse than the first one

he will perhaps be Fofana 2.0 if we are stupid enough to buy him

13 total EPL career goals in 59 EPL games (2557 minutes)

ONE EPL goal since November 2023

and he had NO EPL goals in the last 15 EPL games he played BEFORE he blew out his knee in April 2024

That's staggering reading considering his age and the fees floated pre. There's a reason westham want him on loan, we have enough work in progress.

I was at work today and we were all chatting about strikers getting up there in age, some experience, even in midfield and then got onto defence (Rudi ofc).. my point is that I was actually struggling with available experience right now? Who would anyone take ?

Borussia Dortmund made fresh loan enquiry for Carney Chukwuemeka earlier today. Offer not accepted by CFC and they are not considered to be a front runner at this stage. Five other clubs, including Strasbourg, are keen too.

via@SJohnsonSport

the official bid Borussia Dortmund have submitted for Carney Chukwuemeka (21/🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿) is a loan offer with a €30m option to buy.

Olympique Marseille have agreed terms with Aaron Anselmino as loan move from Chelsea would not include any buy option clause.

Deal now depends on Chelsea and loan spots available, waiting for English club to make a decision on which player they will loan.

The fact Diasi & Badi are still here probably change the board's original plans.

Seems to me this window was used for the women’s team, doesn’t look like we will sign anyone tbh and if we do it will be some no name to loan out

I guess it's better if we sign no one instead of hampering this team with more deadweight like Garnacho and Tel.

Garnacho wouldn’t bother me, he’s shown over the years he’s a good player in a very bad side, Tel I’ve never watched so can’t comment! But I’d have preferred to have signed garnacho over sancho personally, for me our LW lacks pace and when mudryk played it lacked talent, Neto has shown very little here as well. To fast skill full wingers a number 9 a decent midfield back up and a CB and a GK is what we need, problem we have. Ow is we sold most of our pure profit assets and are still short of 5 players

Aston Villa are insisting again for Axel Disasi with Chelsea, negotiations continue between clubs as player said yes days ago.

Tottenham made contact today and could sign two centre backs, based on conditions; as Dragusin is injured.

We should bring N’golo back on a short term deal. He’s not even 34 and as we saw this past summer for France he’s still a machine.

If we used him sparingly and not as an every match player we could easily get a good couple of seasons out of him.

Kante's salary

€ 480,769 per week

€ 25,000,000 per year

Garnacho isn't deadweight, he actually has the skills and is much better than both Sancho and Madueke.

Deadweight is having Nkunku and Felix sitting around on the bench, either play them or let them go elsewhere.

I reckon Disasi still goes on deadline day.

With the Carney to Dortmund rumors, wouldn't that take up the international loan spot?
