Bayern Munich board member Max Eberl called Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku. The deal is off for the winter, but still hot for summer. (via @cfbayern)

the Bavarian cow farmers will ask (in the summer) for a no fee/no obligation loan with us paying half his wages

I keep forgetting to list a great young CB who is one of my targets

I forget because I usually list left-footers and then right-footers

and he slips through the search parameters because he is ambipedal (the best 'listed-as-ambipedal' CB out there, even at only 19yo)

Dean Huijsen

every game I watch him in he has been great lately

Leipzig hit by new injury blow: Castello Lukeba out for months

https://onefootball.com/en/news/leipzig-hit-by-new-injury-blow-lukeba-out-for-months-40388794

Castello Lukeba was forced off early in RB Leipzig's 1-5 defeat to Wolfsburg at the weekend.

Scans have now revealed that the Frenchman has suffered a rather serious muscle injury in his left thigh.

According to RB Leipzig, Lukeba is expected to be sidelined for around two months and the injury will be treated conservatively.

Lukeba has been a key player at the back for Leipzig this season, making 15 appearances in all competitions.

Leipzig already have a long injury list that includes El Chedaille Bitshiabu, Eljif Elmas, Assan Ouedraogo, Yussuf Poulsen, David Raum and Xavi Simons.

AC Milan want to complete a deal for Joao Felix today or tomorrow and have told Chelsea their conditions to get the transfer done.

Milan, though, have set some clear conditions for Chelsea for a potential deal for Felix, who has scored seven goals and given two assists in 20 matches in all competitions this season.

The Rossoneri are keen on exclusively a loan deal for Felix. The Serie A club do not want an obligatory clause, but if pushed, they would be open to having an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season for €40million (£33.43m / $41.5m).

Milan are willing to pay part of the Felix’s salary until the end of the season, but the Italian giants do not want to cover all of his wages and would want Chelsea to subsidise them.

Dusan Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz Desperate to Leave Juventus After Thiago Motta Fallout

Dusan Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz are reportedly determined to cut ties with Juventus after falling out of favor with Thiago Motta. According to La Repubblica via Ilbianconero, both players are unhappy with their current status at the Allianz Stadium and want out.

Vlahovic’s contract in Turin runs out in the summer of 2026. Since Juventus splashed out an eye-watering €70 million to sign him from Fiorentina in January 2022, they’re understandably eager to recoup their investment.

However, time has become a factor. Juventus must either extend Vlahovic’s contract soon or offload him in the summer. Otherwise, they’d risk losing him on a free transfer. Meanwhile, the Serbia international wouldn’t mind leaving the club at the end of the season.

Motta benched the 25-year-old in last weekend’s 2-1 away loss to Serie A leaders Napoli. Indeed, winter signing Randal Kolo Muani took his place and scored on his Juventus debut. Despite returning to the starting XI against Benfica on Wednesday, Vlahovic failed to score again.

Often blasted for his inconsistent form, he could soon wave goodbye to Juventus. The same goes for Douglas Luiz, who joined the club in a €50m deal from Aston Villa last summer. Despite arriving as a household name, the Brazilian midfielder has flopped in Serie A.

Manchester City and several other foreign sides are keen on the Juventus outcast. Meanwhile, the Turin giants are open to sanctioning his departure for the right price. Now that the player himself wants to leave, it’s only a matter of time before this nightmare ends.

So with Veiga and Chilwell out who is going to be LB backup? Gusto? Don't forget we recently let Maatsen and Hall... What if Cucurella gets injured? Or do something we all know he is capable of and gets suspension for some games? Not to mention we cannot count on James staying fit so Gusto would not be a solution either. Horrible planning. In midfield as well. Veiga played some games there and Casadei was pretty regular in Conference League. We lost these two options and Lavia is out... That means after Caicedo and Enzo we have just KDH who is again out of position in pivot. Not sure they have any idea what they are doing...
