Veiga is the easiest 4m we will make.

And probably.have a blinding half season in a less demanding league and go for big money in the summer, wow great business that..

We will just get caleb wiley back off loan

I just feel like Garnacho would be a left sided Madueke. A winger who is clearly talented but is the kind of a “head down and run” player which is what frustrates the fuck out of me about Noni. There isn’t really a sophistication to his game from what I see.

Granted still has to learn but definitely further along and a better prospect than he is getting credit for. There have definitely been moments where he has made poor decisions but he has also had a lot of positive moments and performances for United since breaking in. But with young players this is natural - although at his age to have over 100 appearances for Man Utd “in the best league in the world” and 8 caps for Argentina, there is clearly something there. Has probably already achieved more in his career at 20 than Mudryk at 24 or Noni at 22.

He is definitely not who we should be going for due to his age, we need someone a few years older, further along and more proven in attack to help lift the burden on Cole for me given that we wont go and buy a CF. But I think people are getting blinded by the fact AG’s playing in a poor United side, who haven’t won a lot of games in recent months. Same way like Mainoo was getting it when we got linked to him, instantly folk are thinking they are very bad/overrated players because they are in a struggling side.

Regarding not looking like a £60m player right now, do a lot of the buys we’ve made under Clearlake look like what we paid for them? Honestly I think not. The strategy is buy young and betting on potential. I think for £55-60m in todays market (for each of Mainoo & Garmacho) there are a lot worse options out there than them guys. Definitely. But its whether they are the right age or profile we should be going after. Back to the point I was trying to make re prices, we signed Mudryk for more and he’s awful. Also look at what we’ve paid for Enzo Fernandez & Romeo Lavia, irrespective of their potential, you can’t tell me £106m & £55m has been or may ever be good value for money for them…

tbh, signing garnacho dont bother me too much. I think he has a great potential but spending that money with others areas that demand more urgency to fix its a problematic situation

Who’s letting there main number 9 go in January? We can’t buy what isn’t for sale

Just push harder for Douglas Luiz on loan and buy a striker. That would be a perfectly acceptable January window.

Forget doing something really fucking dumb like splashing insane money on Garnacho.

absolutely agree

as most of us here do, I think!!

The hate for him is so strange it's almost embarrassing at this point but whatever floats the boat I guess. This guy is making due with whatever limited minutes he is getting while Noni pulls trash after trash performance but most don't mind it.

The problem isn't that he doesn't rate him, problem is that he rates worse players than him instead of making the most of what he has at his disposal right now. Serial losers like Noni should be on the bench indefinitely, guy was celebrating and screaming for pushing a ball that was going in anyways whereas being complete wank otherwise.

Yeah, your hate for Madueke is getting pathetic. You sound like a child. Madueke is frustrating and inconsistent but on current form, Neto has been worse than Madueke and I don't see you criticise Neto.... I wonder why..

Both have been bad difference is one isn't an arrogant cunt, screaming and celebrating and after giving that cringeworthly interview acting like he scored a belter and had a blinder of a game when in reality he was one of the worst players on the pitch and stole someone else goal.

Felix comes in for 15-20 minutes and after the match you immediately have people saying I knew he sucks and is useless, meanwhile Noni does fuck all nobody mentions a thing because apparently he is a workhorse and helps the defense, reminds me of the delusional comments years ago when people were defending that piece of shit Mount for being garbage by saying he is working his socks off.

Can't wait for the summer so we can ship this guy to Newcastle, although to be fair I'd rather keep him than wasting the money on Garnacho.

BREAKING: Renato Veiga to Juventus HERE WE GO. £4m loan fee. No buy option. (@FabrizioRomano)

£4m with no buy option is robbery. If he has a good half season, that helps us to then bring him back as he has more experience - or we can sell for good profit. That is smart business, even if I think we should've just used him at CB in the cups ourselves as there was no need to give Disaster mins even in the Conference.

Hopefully, we will see Chilwell get integrated a bit more. No need to have frozen him out like he has been frozen out from a quality point of view.

Marmoush has effectively been that for Frankfurt and is going to be announced as a City player any minute now. Money talks!

It is the wages. He will likely be on £175k+++. We aren't giving contracts like that out. Even Felix and Sancho had to go down to £100k or so.

Chelsea are the latest club to ask about a loan for Douglas Luiz but Juventus want a substantial fee. A move is apparently considered unlikely at this stage, with the Blues unwilling to tie themselves to a fee or commit to an obligation to buy.

Loans with obligations are always pretty high risk, unless the obligation is a good one as if they flop then you still have to buy you look like idiots. A loan with option I think we should do even if it is slightly expensive. Luiz knows the league a is a good to very good DM/CM. We are in desperate need of such a player and a player with experience. He kind of ticks all the boxes on paper.

I'd like to think those to muppet SD's have spoken to Juve when letting Veiga go about Luiz coming the other way but that maybe too much to ask and too sensible for them clowns.

Also, the plus side if Luiz comes, we get to see Aleisha Leihmann's backside at the bridge
