Neto and Sancho, Adarabioyo would still be on the bench if Fofana was fit now. Veiga, Felix, KDH, Adarabioyo all linked to other teams, point?

So how does that not lead you to the conclusion the he never asked or wanted these players? How has this pointed towards he can’t spot talent? If these players were constantly starting and getting lots of minutes I would agree with you, but the fact they are not speaks volumes.

Maresca bought KDH a player he worked with last season and a couple months after we signed him he deemed him shit, that should immediately raise eyebrows.

He froze Chalobah from the first team making him sound like he is the worst defender of the bunch we had and now went back on this decision. You telling me Veiga is worse LB than Gusto playing out of position.

He is lucky for now, we have been decent in patches and have a resemblance of a functional team because otherwise the whole fanbase would be breathing on his neck with all those bizarre decisions and late subs.

Man City are having a Clearlake style January window. They’re copying us almost exactly and it kinda funny.

Gave Haaland a massive length contract, signing 3 teenagers who all play the same position (CB) and are sending one of them on loan to a French side just like we do.

Let’s see if their scouts have better success rate with all these kids they’re buying than we’ve had so far.

If he bought KDH he would play him, he doesn’t get minutes, just because he came from his old club doesn’t mean the manager asked or wanted it to happen, trev is and will always be sold it’s pure profit, it’s likely the manager had no option in that as well, and yes gusto is better out of position, veiga has shown nothing to me, don’t rate him, loved felix in his first stint, this time he looks completely lost! Same with nkunku, Jackson gets a lot of stick and fuck me he’s frustrating in front of goal but the work he does with and off the ball is clearly enough to keep him in the team, noni needs dropping and Neto needs a permanent place on the right. Yes we need a striker but anyone who thinks we will get one in January is deluded at best.

If we sign him its to replace Mudryk in the conference league squad, occasional sub appearance in PL for final 10 minutes.

I am interested in almost any player at the right price, if we're talking £20m and he's coming in on only a small raise on £50k pw (supposedly his current salary) then why not. If we're talking money that isn't back of the sofa money then it would be mad to sign him.

Well bruv it don’t look like £20M...

Chelsea are set to hold more talks with Manchester United over Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho, 20, who is valued at £50m. (Telegraph - subscription required) , external

Antonio Conte keeps pushing after the call with Garnacho on Friday.

️ Chelsea made contact with United and player side, now deciding internally whether to bid or not.

🚨@Matt_Law_DT on Chelsea's next CF: I think people (at Chelsea) like Šeško, Delap. I don't really see why Osimhen would have disappeared off it. CFC is tracking them for sure, particularly Šeško & Delap. If CFC believe deal is possible in Jan or if another club makes progress, Chelsea may move; otherwise it could be done in the summer.

🔵Chelsea are interested in signing Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz on loan until the end of the season.

{Gazetta dello Sport}

This would be a great loaner. I actually wanted him in the Summer. If we can shift Disaster the other way as apart of any deal, that would be jackpot.

As for Garnacho, I am surprised by some of the reactions. Sure he isn't a CF, but I suspect our main target is now Delap and he is going to be much easier in the Summer when Ipswich are relegated.

As for the player, my feeling is at £42m, he is probably a ok medium risk/high reward player. Sure he is a bit erratic but he seems to cause chaos when he runs at defences, which can be handy for creating space for others. For me, he and the Brazilian kid will take the places of Noni and Mudryk. That for me is ok, and if we can tie in Chilwell to get him off the books (unfairly treated btw) than that also makes sense.

For me, with Trev back, I can deal with the CB's so long as this is looked at hard in the Summer along with GK. CF I am happy to wait for Delap. CM Luiz now and then a decision on what we do there permanently in the Summer is also OK.

If it were up to me I agree, we should bring him back. But I feel like it gets into really messed up territory if we start sending our feeder club talents, they become super key players there, and then we snatch them back midseason and thus derailing their season.

Again, if we want to be cold and heartless I wouldn’t mind. But I can’t see our owners bringing that heat on themselves.

Thats the whole point in feeder clubs though.

I mean for example if City did it with Girona and took a player mid season that could help their squad, it would be lauded as a great move. Leipzig also do it with players a lot. They tried to do it with Haaland in the January in particular before he went to Dortmund.

Plus I doubt Santos returning is going to derail the rest of their season, he is a very promising player who has done well but he isn’t Messi or whoever, he isn’t carrying them. If he is capable and good enough to play here with Lavia always unfit then why not? Or was he another pointless signing who was bought with the intentions of selling for profit?

The fans in France hate BlueCo, the ownership shouldn’t be too worried about the backlash now given the shit they got for previous decisions there. They really need to worry more about the main club in the portfolio because our fans are clearly not happy with them and the guys they have in charge of football operations.

I think they will get him and then he will tear the league and people will complaint why we didn't get him?

When it the same people complaining about us getting Duran and then complain why we didn't get him?

Yeah people here are fickle.

I fully believe we already have a deal in place for nkunku to bayern for big money.

But we delayed the news until we wrap up a deal for a replacement...  usually the way to not affect our bidding.

If a player is doing well on loan and settled, why not let him complete the season and come back fresh for pre-season?    I don't remember us having to recall Courtois or Christensen when they were on development loans.

Would make more sense to cancel Ugo's loan at Southampton, considering they are likely to be relegated with or without him.
