If Saudi is offering him £400-500k a week and we’re offering a third of that then that’s the kind of gulf he’ll feel he can’t turn down. But if we’re offering him £200-250k and he chooses Saudi then good riddance. Rotten, mercenary attitude and he’s throwing his career away at age 25.

Lukaku is off the current players page on the official website.

We have less than 60hours to get rid of:

- Petrovic - 0 links

- Chalobah - Palace?

- Chilwell - United?

- Sterling - no idea

- Angelo Gabriel - 0 links

- Broja - what happened here?

- David Fofana - 0 links

I am not including youngsters and Cairney as they can easily be loans outside of the quota. Not so fussed about incomings now. A striker will come I believe. Who? I have no idea 😄 Lets hope it works out.

Chiesa to Pool for only £10.9m

wow

That's amazing value. He mightn't be the same player who originally joined Juve, but I still believe this could be one of the signings of the summer.

It's also clear that Liverpool's owners don't want to be making any big money signings, which can only be a plus for us where CL places are concerned.

I wouldn’t buy anyone. Just go with Jackson Felix and Nkunku

For now it’s fine. Getting the right 9 is what will win the league. Better to wait and see that vs spunk on what clearly isn’t but “closes the distance”. All said I wonder re transfer ban if + when re the right player appearing. Gyokeres is the best fit among known names unfortunately.

If they lay 500k a week on the table we cannot live with that and he goes there without even thinking about it. Like mentioned earlier we have to get him to buy into us, the fee to Napoli won't be an issue to us we can pay it, it's the nod from him and the bonus's alongside his flat rate wage that we have to negotiate.

The reward a player wants once striving pays off, is not to go straight back to striving underdog. They want once it pays off to relax a bit. Typically. But for the freaks. Want REWARDED. Not, what joining CFC is, all compliments to our decent season ahead.

From stylistically to mentality this has been a complete mismatch this entire waste of time.

Yeah, I’m definitely in the “if not Osimhen then wait until next window” camp.

Giving a 28 year old Ivan Toney big wages and what would probably have to be a 5 year contract PLUS a £50m transfer fee would be a terrible piece of business. If he flopped this season we’d then have a completely unmovable player on our hands.

Or worse, we could go for DCL… 🤢🤢🤢
