FUCK that scouser nob Steve Nichol.

I wanted to go through the screen and kick him in the jacobs.

Telling Sancho to not go to Chelsea and to go to Liverpool because he will not play at Chels because of (laughable, especially as Liverpool have the best pair of wingers in the world) MOUNT AND CHO.

WTF!

January window is only 2 and half days old and that Bindipper twat has already wrapped up the 'Stupidest, Most Biased Cunt Comment of the Month' Award.

Unfortunately he might be right, Lyon released the same statement a few days before Lacazette and Mendy left for Arsenal and Madrid. Hopefully they don't bulge from what they say because he is bang average.

Those were summer signings though. This statement only talks about the January window.

Chelsea will be better off saving their bank for summer. With all the prime targets off the market, what is left will be severely over valued. I wish Lampard would see we really do need Ake. We struggle every week to put together a consistent back line. If not for three beautiful saves by Kepa, we would have lost 3 or 4 to 1 last week.

Arsenal and Chelsea in list of sides who want Brazilian – Club willing to negotiate in January

http://sportwitness.co.uk/arsenal-chelsea-list-sides-want-brazilian-club-willing-negotiate-january/

Brazilian side Athletico Paranaense are about to start the season with a huge doubt about the future of their biggest star.

Midfielder Bruno Guimarães could be leaving the club in January, even though it’s still hard to guess who he will be signing for.

Website Globo Esporte brings a story about it this week, listing the possible destinations as Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Chelsea and Flamengo.

And although it’s claimed that Athletico Paranense would favour a January move, the interesting thing is that the report brings a negative point for each one of these clubs, except for the Premier League sides.

Atletico Madrid have the priority due to an agreement from the transfer of Renan Lodi last year, and could pay €30m for Bruno Guimarães. But the Spanish side’s wage bill has been too big, and even if they make a January signing, they would prefer a striker rather than a midfielder.

Something similar happens to Benfica, who have just spent €20m on the signing of Julian Weigl and are unlikely to sign another midfielder in January. And Flamengo aren’t a very strong option, since Bruno Guimarães’ staff and Athletico would favour a move to Europe.

Globo Esporte doesn’t say a lot about Arsenal and Chelsea, except claiming that the interest from the Blues has been there for a while, and since they had been banned from making signings, this is the first transfer window they could make an attempt for him.

So the two London sides seem to be the clubs who don’t have anything blocking them from trying to get the Brazilian this month.

I feel like the only real chance we have at the likes of Werner and Sancho is if we tried this month. But neither of their clubs will sanction moves in January. By the time the summer comes around many more big clubs will be after them and would likely outbid us.

But how many other big clubs out there really need a ST and RW? In Werner's case, think there will be a release clause come next summer, so it'll be a case of convincing him as opposed to outbidding others for him. Being able to promise CL football for next season will also be key, I think (more so with Werner than Sancho).

If we can't get them in January, fine but if we want to be certain for the summer, then we should try to do a Pulisic type of deal for them, unlikely for Sancho but maybe possible for Werner.

I feel like there are clubs that are probably satisfied with what they have now in those positions but come summer will become interested. Liverpool comes to mind. There have been rumors recently that they wanted Sancho. I expect United will be after him hard as well.

But which club really need Werner/Sancho? (I WANT WERNER!)

Sancho to Liverpool makes no sense because Klopp isn't suddenly going to drop Salah (or Mane) and he's only 27 years old, hardly at an age where they need immediate replacement. Plus, they just bought Minamino from RB Salzburg.

Not worried about United, because they are a mess and if Sancho chooses them, well, then maybe he's not very smart. If there's a Manchester club to be worried about, it's the blue half side. The Chelsea connection could ultimately decide whether we get Sancho or not, assuming the club isn't scared off by the big transfer fee.

Liverpool only spend what they sell, unless there's a big sale of one of the front three Liverpool are firmly out of the race.

Can't make a judgement either way as not saw a game he's played ever but 17 goals in 37 games is a pretty sound return at 21, even in the Russian League.

I wouldn't be surprised if Real target Mane or Salah in the summer, especially if they can ship out the likes of Bale, James, Isco.

It's quite possible if (or I suppose when) Liverpool win the league this season, either of those two may be ready for a new challenge as they haven't much else left to do or win at Liverpool.
