The club has released the following statementregarding the fitness of John Terry.

Scans confirm that John has two cracked ribs sustained in last week's game in Portugal. We have been able to manage it and will continue to do so. We will continue to monitor it on a daily basis and will assess him for upcoming games.

No need to risk him against Wigan and Fulham. Cahill & Luiz should be more than capable of playing together in those 2 games. Wrap Terry around the cotton wool and try to make sure he can play against Tottenham and Barcelona especially against the latter.
