Werner is in horrible form. Cant pick a pass and can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Why is he an automatic starter? If you want speed off the bench, use him in the 75 min.

....because he caused the most harm against City on both occasions? And Liverpool? And Real Madrid? And Atletico when they had to score?

You see a pattern here?

I'm just at a loss, scratching my head thinking about who we should go for.

We are not getting Kane or Harrland. I'm not s fan of Lukaku. Dread the thought of a 34 year old Lewondowski leading our attack.

Don't worry. We 10000000000% won't be getting Lewandowski.

The only pattern I see is getting caught offside and not hitting the back of the net. Absolute sitters.. served on a silver platter. Not the tip of the spear for me... sorry

I wouldn’t say horrible. I would say not great.. he created the only goal today. So he deserves benching?? Sorry, if it’s a choice of benching one of today’s players in the final, it ain’t pulisic.

He created the goal but it got us nowhere in the end. He's part of a malfunctioned attack and even spurned a glorious chance to score.

Gonna be a prick here. That's the same fella who's suggesting we should start Giroud up top against Man City (MAN CITY OF ALL TEAMS!). That says a lot.

I see a pattern of games won when Werner plays against a high line. He attracts defenders and always has them on their toes. That alone has proved incredibly vital for our other attackers to score.

Well, you are being a prick. I said he wouldn’t do it and I was wondering why he hasn’t tried it.

So the only player on the team that created something today is the player you’re gonna go after.. I don’t get it. Sorry, I don’t understand the logic. We can agree to disagree.

It's basically the end of the season and people are still wondering why Tuchel hasn't played Giroud more...really?

If you understand Tuchel, you'll know he doesn't just look at the numbers. He'll also make decisions based on the tactics and how he wants us to play.

Mount will start the final. Werner likely too. It comes down to whether it's Pulisic, Havertz or even Ziyech.

An experienced World Cup winner replacing a misfiring Werner is hardly an insane idea btw. Jas, you clearly have your tail up and are having a go at people. Take it easy.

I understand this. Don’t need the patronizing as if I haven’t watched every Chelsea match since I can remember. I am stating my opinions.

I think we played very well, but we were unlucky. My two cents worth of assesment:

1)  Not sure about Jorginho. I have never liked inconsistent players. On his day he is a great player but  1 out of 5 good games is not good enough. Sell him

2) I truly believe Harvertz will come good next year. He made difference today when he came.

3) Sawp Timo for Haaland plus cash. Not sure if is cut out for Chelsea and EPL

4) Next year will be huge for Mount. He seems to disappear after some time in many games. My fav player I am hoping Tuchel gets the best  out of him.

5) Pulisic was a huge disappointment today. I still like him give him one more year

It is when one moves like molasses and the other is rapid. Wonder which one will be easier to defend against when they are playing a counter attacking system...

Look, I said it would never happen and was wondering out loud why he hasn’t tried this.. Giroud holds up the ball. Werner doesn’t. It’s a different system obviously. I old enough to remember before Tuchel came in. He was scoring some big goals... and yes, it’s not gonna happen. Not in a million years. I’m just not a Werner fan. Then it comes down to having Havertz or Giroud or Tammy up there.

If there is one game I would NOT use Giroud (unless we are desperate) is the CL final. Giroud is too slow to make any kind of runs.

It might just be the unpredictable Tuchel maneuver. If you hold up the ball well you don’t have to be fast. We need goals.

You don't have to be a fan of Werner. It's a question of making tactical decisions that will cause City the most problems. City will absolutely love it if Giroud starts because of his lack of mobility and pace to run in behind.
