Yes but that's down to the system on that day. Imagine knowing your team have slow defenders and yet you ask them to play a high line. 
If Lampard suddenly ask the team to play a high line today against City with Silva in the back 4 and he struggles with balls over the top, who are you gonna blame? Silva for having no pace or Lampard for setting us up to fail knowing there are slow defenders in the backline? 

Is Silva even slow? Seems fast to me. Obviously not as fast as Zouma, but Silva still looks fast.

How is someone slow getting outpaced by someone quicker from balls over the top even a good example? I mean that situation is obvious, simple logic, no? Give me an example of where Azpi has truly struggled 1 v 1 against someone else.
