LUK'S IN?

Frankfurt is expecting bidding war. Unfortunately for them (and us?) Marina doesn't do that.

Chelsea have reportedly moved ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester City and Manchester United to sign Frankfurtstriker Luka Jovic.

According to Spanish outlet Marca, the Blues are behind Barcelona in their pursuit of the 21-year-old, but have the best chance of any Premier League side of landing him.

We have good chance because of Zahavi. He has a good relationship with Mr. Abramovich and has been working with PL-clubs for 40 years. I really hope we use this good relationship. We can never sign Raiola's players because he forces all of his clients to Manchester United but this time we can be lucky.

How are we gonna sign him with a transfer ban, just keep him at Frankfurt for a season? I doubt hed want to wait when Barca, Bayern or Real would definitely want him. He fits their profiles in terms of the fact all 3 of their top CFs are ageing and need long term replacements. Those 3 along with City, Juventus, Liverpool, United probably all more attractive teams than us right now for a player with his potential.

I know! All these articles linking us with like 50 players never mention the bans or assume they are overturned, as if that is a sure thing.

Nope. transfers are banned.

Can only recall players on loan and sign free agents.

But the Costa deal went through they simply couldn't play him.

hmm wouldn't be much of a ban, that is intent to punish a club for signing a (too) young player, which would allow the same club to go again and sign another young player, just to loan them out, like they've been doing.

Nope. Registering players are banned - IF it's gonna be banned.

Barcelona signed Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan the same way, they went to trainings for half a year but couldn't play.
