A lot of talk as to why we didn’t go for Alisson but will spend 80m euros on Kepa.

Somewhere on twitter it said apparently Sarri has been watching videos of him for 10 days and 100% wants him. Also Kepa has played more than one full season in Europe which people seem to forget about, where as Alisson who was a benchwarmer behind Woijech Sczeszny (spelling probably off) at Roma before last season... a lot of Liverpool fans questioning it too but he was almost Madrid’s new GK in Jan but Zizou preference was to keep Navas, he is undoubtedly a good goalkeeper so no need to panic. 

Most importantly Sarri is on board and wants him.

We would have to pay 30m for Butland, we will receive 30-40M for TC, we are investing into a young keeper with potential for roughly 25-30M give or take.

Dont really get the stigma about paying loads for arguable one of it not thee most important position on the pitch, wanted to by a left back at 80m but not a keeper that can get u 15 points a season on his own?

No. But there were other options like Areola, Trapp or even our Bulka (all of them are better than Butland)

Butland is making howler every now and then recently. So, yes  Bulka IS better than Butland atm

Areola and Trapp are decent but I think Kepa is better. Maybe not but he has a huge ceiling. Madrid didn’t want him for nothing.

Back on topic, I think that chances are quite high that he's going to join us. Why? Game-time the same reason Kovacic is leaving Real. Kepa might have gotten benched at Real for Keylor Navas. With us he's certain of being the no.1 keeper. That maybe the reason, who knows though
