I mean Alonso and Moses. Wingbacks, not fullbacks.

We are not gonna  play with wingbacks. Alonso can play reserve full back as can Zappacosta

how did bakayokos hair grew so much in two months

That is the most shocking thing about this match to me.

He had to have been growing it out for a year at least.

Barkley has been class today. Hats of to him.

He gets a 10/10 for effort.  And he's had the right mentality.  We'll see how quickly he picks up the team play.  You can see him looking around trying to figure out where to be on offence and when to press on defence.

You could also argue it worked in the long run, got a couple of stuffing's but it was clear City were heading in a positive direction and the rest of us were always in trouble once he got the athletic fullbacks and decent keeper.

I would trade a couple of ego dent's for similar progress if im honest.

Yes, we all knew City were going in a positive direction - they were always gonna be under Guardiola - but that's not the point, Tomo. The point is Guardiola failed to adapt to what he had. It's all good and easier when you have the players that you want, but when you don't have them, you gotta show a different side by adapting and becoming flexible. Not saying Guardiola should have started playing pragmatic football like Mourinho and gone against his football philosophy but he could and should have tweaked his approach to ensure his team were less exposed on the defensive side of things but he didn't.
