I'm actually really intrigued to see the first League Cup match (assuming that Jorginho would be rested).  I'm really curious to see what this team looks like without Jorginho on the pitch directing the traffic.

 

What I would do would be play Mat K in Jorgis place and play Barkley in his. Mat K has a good passing range, can dribble till the cows come home and good defender. Should manage the job quite well

I didn't know where else to post this as theres no general thread in the current players section.

Its strange not to have a squad photo. Hopefully we can get around to do one soon

For the first time in recent memory, if perhaps for the first time ever since the introduction of the homegrown rule, Chelsea have a full complement of 8 homegrown players alongside the 17 non-homegrown ones (or 9 and 16, if for some reason the Premier League is actually correct in their designation of Piazon as homegrown).

Sounds a very humble guy. Just seems happy that he got a chance to manage Napoli which gave him the chance to manage us.

Sarri has revealed he spent around 13 hours a day during the international break watching videos of Chelsea's opponents in action

“We have to play seven matches in 23 days, so I had to work,” he said. “I have seen a lot of matches, of Cardiff and PAOK, West Ham and Liverpool, so I had to work.

“Sometimes I’m working at the training ground, sometimes at my home.

“They were long days. But, for me, it's a pleasure. I am not able to think about this as a job, like work. It's 12 or 13 hours, but for me it's not working.”

“For the moment, I'm really very happy to stay here,” he added. “I have my dog here with a very big garden, so the dog is very happy. I'm really very happy. I feel like at home. I feel in my home.

Theres only been 4 managers upto now who have won their first 5 games ans as the press love to point out Pep and of course Carlo with us when we went on to do the League and the FA cup double. (It really irked me I must say when he was sacked. It was when I realized just how ruthless Roman was.) I would love for him to at least get 6 to tie with Pep and Carlo ffs. Then the scouse gits would be the dogs dangleys!  Can you dig it!!!!  As Cyrus would say on the Warriors!
