Even first half. Pretty scary to see Cahill continuously isolated on Salah. Alonso also getting caught too high on a number of occasions allowing them to easily get the ball down our left flank.

We were much better going forward than anyone could've thought. Drinkwater essentially playing the Lampard role and popping up in fantastic positions around their box.

Right. It's lunacy to praise our team for 'matching' Liverpool. And Klopp. A team which together has produced less results than when they had Brendan Rodgers.
Nevermind that they're without 90% of their best attackers, who're still to come on.

We're complimenting surviving against that.

Agree that the team can use more imagination in attack

But Chelsea have done more than survive. Good chances to score, especially that Drinkwater chance.

Apart from the shot from Salah, Liverpool haven't really produced anything and that's down to the approach taken today.

We are likely feeling that midweek game. Liverpool have fresher players with Ox and Sturridge. We have kept them relatively quiet, but would prefer Azpi to go to LWB and mark Salah, or have Rudiger in Cahill's place. That added pace would help prevent them exploiting that side of our defence.

We're not interested in defending our title just in containing Liverpool. This is a team that had a very tough and emotionally draining game against Sevilla while we've had 2 cakewalks against WBA and Qarabag.

Percentage football. Fabregas would have scored from that Hazard pass. How many goals does Drinkwater have in his career?

When we decided to attack, we were actually getting into interesting positions, and without a real struggle. Liverpool's defence has been horrible but we are not there to exploit it which is shame. As someone said, the points are there for taking. Just go for it.

Hazard vs Liverpool . Conte doing his best Mourinho impression.

This is so far off lol

Yes, the team is respectful of Liverpool but Zappacosta Alonso Drinkwater Bakayoko are all flooding forward at every opportunity.

Can you imagine what Cesc will do with his passing range?

Some of you complaining are doing my head in. FFS, you guys want us to play suicidal, naive all out attacking football away at Liverpool?

People have different opinions from you. I'm not sure why you expect everyone to agree with your views. No one here has suggested we go gung-ho/all out. That's a strawman
