!Hazard! 3,394
Other Chelsea players didn't do him any favours. Our whole strategy was based on Cesc, Kante, Cahill and Luiz hoofing the ball towards Morata from distance with the occasional cross from Moses, Azpilicueta and Alonso. Whenever the ball was played to his feet he did well. Just shows how much we need Hazard.

Our wingbacks' crossing abilities have been embarrassing.
Pizy 18,909
The narrative has already started amongst seemingly all of the media now that Morata is soft and I even saw one idiot say he's not a #1 striker. After one average game. When Diego was scrapping and fighting with defenders, winding everyone up, and generally being a nasty cunt they were all slating him and wishing he'd cut it out. Now we have a striker who only concerns himself with football and they say he's "too nice, too pretty, and not nasty enough." Can't win with these morons. kmk108 and Azpinator

The worst part is that some Chelsea fans have already adopted those second-hand opinions.

Fortunately I haven't been seeing much of our own fans slating him. It is true that he needs to toughen up and realize that the refs in this league won't give him soft fouls. He just needs to get used to a completely different league. I have no concerns about him at all at this point. kmk108
Special Juan 28,141
Just one of those days for him, he will learn from it and doubt get better. He's one of the least of the worries in this team IMO.

Thank God for those headed goals, without them this would've already turned into really torr... terrible situation. Not the same thing as with Torres. Torres was already an effective striker for Liverpool. This is Morata's second month in the Premier League. Barbara and the wes

This is Morata's second month in the Premier League. Agree, we should of course give him time. Just saying - great that he scored those headers, if it weren't for those pressure would've been massive on him already.Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
Polo7 3,496
Barely got any service. We know he is good in the air but we cant fucking cross unless its Cesc or Azpi and they dont play on the wing.

LAM09 7,054
I've accepted that the club aren't too serious about challenging for trophies this year tbh. We don't have that luxury but it is what it is. Just hoping Morata can have a decent return either way this season - but I truly believe we'll properly see what he's made of next year. I honestly hope we make a serious push for a major trophy this year regardless. Barbara

zakhov 253
Second goal was brilliant, shades of Suarez the way he ran and finished. Could've finished the game with 5 goals to be honest. Thanks to John O' and Fletch.
